I once tried to make my own katamari ball. I took a tennis ball and covered it with gelling adhesives from my job and had my dog roll it around to pick the potato chips out of my carpet. Didnt work. At all. I left that experience with a still very dirty carpet and a sticky tennis ball covered in dog pubes. Now I throw it at my friends faces when they come over. Maybe because it has, like, 2 zillions of different objects in it that you can rip piece by piece? Did you realize that the more stuff a game has in, the worse the graphics must be to allow the CPU to process all that stuff? Look at games like Gears of War 2 or Killzone 2. You have a few people, some exploding stuff, some weapons, buildings, maybe veichles. You don't have thousand and thousand different objects, because the CPU can't do the work.

It's different in every game. In this game, the King of All Cosmos made a huge black hole while playing tennis that sucked up EVERYTHING, except them and the Earth of course. ;P Your goal is to roll up objects using these things, katamaris, to make the universe whole (yet again) and roll up the black hole. It's totally random, but it's uber fun. :D
