Having straight pipes, you reduce back pressure. Which means the engine can breath better. But not having a "particular filter" is not good for the environment. But the addicting sound of the V8.... I just can`t live without it. Sorry nature.....

@samsteryfc Yeah the straight pipes allow an increase in power and can help with fuel consumption. When the engine is allowed to breathe more freely it doesnt have to work as hard to get the exhaust out of the engine allowing it to conserve a bit more fuel.
