Yea, he played well in the Gold Cup, no doubt about it. But I don't think he can compete against world class players in Europe like Jozy can. Lets no kid ourselves, the Gold Cup this year was awful. Nobody brought their best players. If he were to do that against REAL competition, then i'd give it to him.

altidore and gio play very different styles..jozy is an out and ouot striker or goal poacher..think Ruud von nilsteroy..dos santos is an attacking midfielder or center forward..think Ronaldhino..but at the moment and probably for the rest of their careers Jozy is better at his postion (ST) than Giovani is at his (CAM,CF,LS,RS)

there is no way u guys could have won that game. i know it was a sloppy game cuz it was wet and windy, but anyone who knows anything the game could see that the USA dominated. gio missed a great opportunity to get the first goal of the game. if that was jozy he would have scored.

Altidore tambien es talentoso pero tecnicamente no esta ni va a estar al nivel europeo que se exige, ultimamente ninguno de estos 2 jugadores ha jugado lo necesario para ganar experiencia ni son titulares y la mayoria de veces ni estan en la banca, si van a hacer un video de buenos jugadores hagan uno de Guardado (Mex) y Jonhson o Beasley (EUA).

This video needs edited in about 5 months. This footage is while Altidore was in MLS. MLS is notoriously known for the more physical game and faster defenders that hang on you. It's a fact that La Liga does not have that issue when forwards are trying to run at defenders. If you don't believe this theory look up Jozy altidore and villareal. He's already making better moves off the ball than Santos and trust me when I say his goal avg will increase past Santos next season.
