Can one print the image with a printer? and what kind of foil is it that you are using?

wow, how pretty! im definitely going to try this. can i ask - what do u do if u dont have a stamp for the image u want to foil? i want to foil a title on a book i have made, but i dont have a stamp for the letters. please help! thx.

I have done similar with printing it on vellum or glossy stock and quickly using the powder and if quick enough... I think you might try to use the foil too... Hope it works.

Does the stamp ink color have to be the same color as the foil you put over it? Or does it not matter?
