  • Cammed??

  • what size and what kind are tips

  • I want to know why my car doesn't idle like this one when my exhaust is practically the same less the cats.

  • @longhornd00d

    What's your idle set at?

  • @JohnnyZ I believe you guys set it at 775?

  • is that the roush spoiler? do u think it looks bad after owning it for awhile?

  • @matt25675

No, the Roush spoiler looks good in the beginning, middle and the end. LOL

  • Lopey! I think the 2010 is the BEST Mustang yet!!

  • Lopey!

  • How is the driveability with these cams?

  • @MetalObsession

Drivability is that of stock. They are not too aggressive to truly effect the way the car drives, but they sound amazing.

Call up Blow By Racing and order up a set. They have been tested by numerous magazines and racers and have seen some awesome gains.

  • @JohnnyZ Yea I might do just that. I'm torn between these, FRPP Hod Rods and Brenspeeds Detroit Rockers.

  • @MetalObsession

Specs on the HR and DR cams are almost identical. They are made for sound and not much more. The overlap on the cams are too great to allow for power gains or to be used with boosted applications, if you ever decide to go with a blower or a turbo. The Stage 1 cams are designed to be an all around cam for N/A as well as forced induction. You'll notice on the site the LSA is at 114° where as the others are at 110°

  • @MetalObsession Get theses they also work well with a blower. Either these or the Hot Rods they are about the same and sound similar and give you the ability to go blower in the future. The detroit rockers sound alright but if you plan on going FI then dont get them. They do have detroit blower grind but they dont lope like this and are probably a little bit better for boost than these but not too much

  • @JohnnyZ I meant to post this to you not metalobsession but hey metal whats up haha...Get theses they also work well with a blower. Either these or the Hot Rods they are about the same and sound similar and give you the ability to go blower in the future. The detroit rockers sound alright but if you plan on going FI then dont get them. They do have detroit blower grind but they dont lope like this and are probably a little bit better for boost than these but not too much

  • @brittonmaxwell Alright thanks for the responses, I'm really leaning towards these because they seem to produce the most power and sound really good at the same time.

  • sounds so sexy....!

  • Sickk carr.....whatt kind of exhaust is that?

  • is the idle loud only from the back, cause when you moved up to the front of the car as you were getting there the idle was like disapearing?

  • @JohnnyZ - what exhaust is this car running? and what is the idle set at?

sounds great! you do awesome work for my 2010 @BBR

  • can these cams work with a supercharger???

  • @jmesohigh

Yes. They'll work incredibly well with a Supercharger and/or Turbo

  • sounds sexy! long live the 4.6!

  • zsg bvxsfgsrt g sorry i was wiping my seamen from my keyboard

  • Beautiful machine

  • wtf just happen one minute i was on youtube the next i was getting layd 1min and 37 sec i was back on you tube wft

  • BTW this sound is SICK

  • nice, they got this for the 5.0! ???????

  • These cams are back in stock!!!!!!

  • @JohnnyZ Hey man great sounding cam. How much are they going for?? How much rwhp are they good for?? One last question, do they need a cam phaser?? Thanks a million man!!

  • that sounds annoying

  • could i do this on my 07 v6?

  • @wonderbreadkw nope

  • good job 1 year ago

  • shit sounds sick looks like im callin blowby

  • Aren't you located in florida ? Nice mustang

  • music in my ear ^_^

  • Sounds like it only takes rocket fuel.

    Ford4Life

  • Sounds Bad ass!

  • i just peed a little lol

  • do you know when they make cams for the 2011?

  • @2011mustanglover It comes stock with better cams, they are independently variable for performance and fuel economy. I think a computer adjustment would be more how you would get a rough idle on a 2011, the private company's will be slow to make the expensive cams that it will need.

  • wow that is nice

  • Sounds SICK!!

  • I think these cams sound better than the Ford Racing Hot Rod Cams.

  • that brought tears to my eyes it was so beautiful

  • Nice sound buds.. cams are the next step for my stang.

  • Sounds sweet, if you dont mind me asking, how much for parts and labor bcuz I wanna get this done in the future.

  • what does the NSR stand for?

  • Wooooow i like it

I hope my car have same the sound with the new compcam stage3

  • Listen to this guy's car when ya get a chance, probably one of the best sounding mustang's on you tube, his screen name is( 4511point21 ),I think he's got kook long tubes, high flow cats and 4'' magnapack muffler's,it sounds awsome

  • Is this cam like the comp cams NSR stage 1 ???

  • sounds good, and I love the color, but not to crazy bout the new body style.

  • funny how us guys cant keep anything new stock for long haha..like the guy who bought a ZR1 and not even a month later put a cam, exhaust, pully and tuned it :D sounds beastly id love to hear what a cammed 5.0 sounds like

  • Nice sounding car. too bad the aftermarket manufacturers couldn't come up with a better sounding name for their company. Seriously? Blow By Racing? Sounds like something a toddler could conceive.

  • damn that sounds amazing, nice job BBR what kinda numbers do you see with the upgrade cam?

  • do u think it smart for me to take off my resanators? in my 2010 gt

  • I don't have to read up there Johnny Z, I'm well aware of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. The only way it'll void the warranty is if they can prove that the aftermarket part contributed to the failure in the vehicle. So hypothetically if the mechanic/technician working on a consumers vehicle causes or contributes the failure in the vehicle it will void out a portion of that consumers warranty.

  • This cam sounds good.... The ford racing hot rod cam is also another way to go, and won't void out the warranty because its a ford part...

  • @Musclecarfever13

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act states that no aftermarket part can void a factory warranty... Read up my friend. :-)

  • @JohnnyZ This statement is not totally true. The dealership does not have to honor your warranty if they deem the damaged part(s) in question were caused by any aftermarket parts you have installed. Any alteration or modification of the "factory original product" stands to be in void of the original warranty granted by the factory.

  • @JohnnyZ interesting.

  • @JohnnyZ haahah the magnuson act wont save you a dealership can still void your warrant. nice try though. but its been prooven the magnuson act wont help in court much nowdays

  • @JohnnyZ

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act actually states that no aftermarket part can void a factory warrant unless they can prove that part caused the damage....You need to read up or at least finish the sentence

  • @JohnnyZ Unless they can prove that the part in question is the cause of the failure/problem... and some stealerships "proof" has been sketchy at best

  • @JohnnyZ

Do you happen to know where exactly it states that in the article? I just started modding mine and I'd like to point any service manager in the right direction in case they need some guidance.

  • @JohnnyZ bullshit you put a supercharger on a car an destroy the engine good luck on getting it replaced on warranty

  • @lpknocko You are an idiot. People who do these mods normally have enough money to not be too concerned with the warranty. Also, read up on the warranty act.

  • @OneBadHammer21 i've work at a dealership for 5 years if the dealer gets a hint that your fuckin with the motor they use that as an opportunity to deny warranty repairs on the long block. I dont have to read an ancient piece of legislation to know that this wording is in the warranty when you buy the vehicle.

  • @lpknocko

Then you would know that the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act dictates that the burden of proof is on YOU, the dealership, to prove that an aftermarket part caused the failure.

If my rear end blows out driving down the road, are you going to tell me that my Cold Air Intake caused the malfunction?

  • @JohnnyZ other than that specific part, or if that part was a direct cause of the vehicle breaking down :/, most dealers will give you hell for these parts though

  • @ADD8oi

I'm going to troll every video you make BS up in :D

im youtube troll hunter! LOL seriously, you need to stop making up BS because people might listen to you (but only if they know nothing about cars because half the shit you say is farther from the truth) and your going to mess up there car or lead them down a wrong path!

Do you have nothing better to do than lie on youtube? because i troll you in my spare time :D saving people from your ignorance and lies

  • @Roush20115XR lmao BS i make up? really? cause thats hilarious, im pretty sure i know what you drive inside and out, youre just a loser with nothing better to do, go have a life kiddo

  • @JohnnyZ You're dead wrong. That Act is nothing more than a clarifying piece of legislation to require manufacturers to make clear the type of warranty and the things covered under warranty and that does NOT include after market parts, only the original and the replacement of that same original part should it become necessary.

  • Dude that thing sounds mean as hell.

  • @oneshotkill324

    Thanks!

  • hey i have a 2010 gt can i buy this kit for mine and if so how much. or is this just a modle type?

  • @YoniggaKevin0001

    Contact Blow-by Racing @ 561-417-5555

  • sounds good, but ford screwed the back of the mustangs up

  • This is still my favorite sounding mustang with the BBR stage 1's, i bet matt is proud?

  • the hp and tq numbers whp or hp

  • @branman65

All numbers are REAR WHEEL HORSEPOWER NUMBERS

  • @branman65

All the numbers are REAR WHEEL HORSEPOWER NUMBERS

  • This car was once again in MM&FF magazine this month. They did a technical write-up for the BBR Billet camshafts.

  • @JonnyZ Hey I am looking at cams for the bullitt, and I am on s197forum, moddedmustangs, and imboc, yes the same navyman8903....any way, I am about to drop in some 4.10s, and a Novi 2200 sl, I was looking into the BBR stage 1 cams, are they a good Idea for a mild cam w/blower and can you take some vids of the speedo while driving the car hard please, I would like to see where and when the power comes in and what not. Thanks man. And BBR has the best sounding cams.

  • @navyman8903

They'll work great with that blower!!! They added an additional 40+ RWHP onto a Vortech S-trim car in testing.

  • @navyman8903

These cams will work great on a forced induction car. They've picked up over 40 rear wheel horsepower on a Vortech S-trim car.

  • Beautiful in every aspect

  • What's the name/brand of the black panel on the trunk?

  • It was a one off item that we put on. it's actually a decal that was overlayed across the back panel.

  • Thank you for taking the time to respond.

  • @MrMop2025

It's a one off item from BBR

  • sup buddy whats the price of this fabulas car?

  • Thunder + large hog = that sound

  • those cams will go with stock valve train?

  • @BDHURTZ

Yes... Stock valvetrain is what these cams were designed for.

  • Its like crack for the ears

  • @richarcm ROFLMAO!!!!!

  • WooW great sound

  • Okay, great, you made a new Mustang sound like an old muscle car with a nice lumpy idle. But the real question is this--does it make more power? Any dyno proven numbers you care to share?

  • @EvenSteven2004 i believe this particular car put down some where in the neighborhood of 330 rwhp and that is withought long tubes or any type of headwork

  • Nice, so the HP gains were from the camshaft swap, or was there other work done as well?

  • @EvenSteven2004 supporting modsi believe are a intake roush cat back exhaust tuned by chris jones and delete plugs factory car makes around 260 rwhp

  • This is the car that has been in MM&FF magazine for th past few tech articles. There are other supporting N/A mods. but nothing major.

  • I would imagine he picked up more horsepower with the cams.....?

  • @sabbathofcolorblack, yes he said he did, but I was asking because sometimes it seems that people love the old-school lumpy idle of an old musclecar with a big cam, even if they don't get the performance that goes along with it on a modern musclecar (or in this case, pony car). But it is good to see that this car is more than just sound.

  • I'm really surprised they get that lope from a modular, hot rod cams are the best. 30 rwhp with a good tune from what I read. I'm just assuming any cam upgrade to a mod would increase hp/tq, Modulars are a work of art to work on LOL

  • Horsepower gained from just the cam swap was 33 hp / 25 tq

  • sounds great ,i just picked up my 2010,grabber blue gt, looking for the best bolt on's right now,pullys,hedders,x-pipe,tuner chip ,intake tube, any ideas on the most proven parts ? thanks

  • @BDHURTZ

my choice is steeda for pulleys, mac for exhaust (though for 2010 id go roush), sct tuner, plastic intakes only (jlt) the aluminum ones heat sync like hell. If you want to supercharge eventually go ahead and break out for long tube headers. just my 2 cents

  • sounds too much like a racecar in idle.

  • thats a pretty hardcore idle for a stage 1 lol cant imagine a stage 2

  • it has alot to do with the brand. every brand has different lift and duration specs. comp's stage 2 specs are the same as bbr's stage 1.

  • ok so, how much did it cost you to get an exhaust like this.. all together.

  • oh my :O

  • holy camshafts batman!!!!

  • bro im a chevy guy and even i gotta admit..she sounds pretty fucking sweet enjoy her.. GRATS!!!!

  • Sick!

Love the sound, the cams, the spolier, and that black-out panel really tightens up the look of the back end. Sick ride bro!

I have a 2007 GT, and will be getting one of the new 5.0's. Probably a 2012 model.

  • prolly X pipe, hi flow cats, bassani exhaust?????

  • What is the exhaust setup? And how much would it be to get my new 2010 done? Thanks

  • Ford OEM Exhaust Manifolds

    Magnaflow Catted X-pipe

    Roush Extreme Catback

    BBR Stage 1 camshafts

    BBR Custom Tune

  • sounds amazing nice work

  • did ya'll ever put this car on the dyno im still curious for the numbers

  • Yes.

    It made 334 rwhp / 330 rwtq

  • thats really good jw are the numbers in std of sae corrected....my car made 344 and 331 on SAE

  • sounds like a dragster

  • sounds real good

  • Awesome!

  • a pair of new camshafts really put the icing on the cake..especially this brand

  • ILY

  • Why is it the 2010's sound so much more aggressive with the same cams?

  • It's all in the exhaust setup.

  • What's the part number on these cams? Love the lope at idle. Thanks!

  • What kind of power?

  • @cavlovc1 no it sounds like an american muscle car

  • Well done! these sound great, I was wondering what the 3v would sound like with a little tweak in rotation

  • This car sounds awesome! I'd love to see the new dyno numbers with the cams installed. Just got a 2010 gt and getting ready to order the roush cat back from BBR. Hopefully mine will sound this bad one day!

  • They are trying to get some customers cars finished up, so they can spend some time getting the cars dialed in and nnumbers will be posted then.

  • Awesome! Look forward to seeing them!

  • What's your idle at? I do know that Matt's car's Idle was set at 700 rpm. If yours is higher, that may be the reason why.

  • im the programmer is set to 848 but it idles at 900 to 1200, but the tune is for a set of mutha thmpr cams so that may be why to, cant i adjust the idle rpm with the diablo

  • hey johnny im goning to get my dyno next thursday and im wantging to squeeze very ounce of hp any suggestions...Mods- BBR heads, stage 1 cam, shortblock, longtube headers, off road H, C&L street intake, shelby gt 500 throttle body, cmvc deletle plates, steeda under drive pulleys..Is there any way i can get close to the 400 hp range maybe upgrade injectors or something ...????

  • hey johnny i have the bbr stage 1 cams in my car and they are no where near as choppy as this and i have long tube headers Off road h and pypmes m 80 mufflers out the sides ...IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO MAKE MY CAR LOPE LIKE THE THE ONE IN THE VIDEO..PLEASE RESPOND

  • What exhaust setup and programmer did you use? Looking to do the same on my 2010.

  • What exhaust set-up are you running?

  • Stage 1 cams add 25 rwhp / 20 rwtq with stock heads and basic bolt ons. Ported heads will wake these cams up BIG TIME!!!!

  • Has BBR put this car on the dyno yet with the stage 1's

  • hey man i finally got the engine put in and running with my bbr stage 1 cams and the choppy ness of the cam sounds nothing close to this

  • we've seen more performance gains with our BBR Stage 1 cams

  • ok thanks i was jw because i talked to chris today and he said if i wanted to put the stage 2's in my car he would have to take the heads and everything off again so i told him to just do the stage 1's, and i just wanted to make sure they would have as much power if not more than the stage 2 mother thumprs i had in the engine before i sent it to BBR.

  • iv got a question how do the bbr stage 1's compare to stage 2 mutha thumpr's..whick cam is better???..please respond

  • at the begining of the vid. does anyone else happen to notice the white GT with the cobra bumper. that is a very familiar car. procharged and runs 9's

  • That white GT is my personal car. It's actually got a Kenne Bell 2.8 on it. Sold the Procharger long ago.

  • oh cool

  • 9's??

  • yes the convertible in the corner runs 9's

  • was cams the only mod? lock-outs? stock heads?

  • Cams and lock-outs. Stock heads.

  • Blow by racing is building my engine as i am watching this video, i just hope that my car sounds this good when i get the engine put in, lol but it seems like i just keep running in to porblems....."Dillon Dollar"..

  • That's the goal. Great performance and great sound. People are in shock when they see this car and hear it in person. No one can believe that a brand new 2010 mustang gt can sound like this already.

  • wow first off i love the spoiler 2nd the cam is just sick, and thats only stage 1. open header that and u got a nasty sounding car

  • Roush extreme cat-back

  • That sounds so awesome...can't wait to get some for our 06 GT...what exhaust are you using?
