that can happen if you use a mushroom at the right time too i did it by accident one time cuz i was going to use it before it hit me that way it didnt just go away and get wasted but it ended up saving me from the blue shell XD

Another way to get rid of them on Peach Beach is to hit one ofr those weird walking things your car will go in the air and the blueshell explosion won't hurt u
