  • And how's about 25er raids? or BGs? All good?

  • bro is ur laptop still running good with cataclysm?

  • Question should i buy this computer or the 17r for 100 bucks more i play wow, modern warfare 3, and minecraft.I like a computer that can run at least good/ultra settings.

  • @ rakyer0 hey m8 will Wow run on a Intelcore i7-2630Qm 6m cashe 2.00Ghz proccesor? it has something called turbo boost which then puts it up to 2.9Ghz but i dont really understand that bit.

  • How big is your HD?

  • I got mine from Ebuyer.com 3 months ago, for £420 down from £650 it has now been discontinued sadly, but me and my best mate both have the same laptop and have nothing but pleasure from this laptop, its fantastic for Wow (cata) TF2 L4D2 CoD mw2 CS:S Terraria (but many pcs can run that anyway) and crysis. Yeh the CPU temp gets around 63 deg but hey its a laptop....and again a GREAT one at that!!!! All thanks to @Rakyer0 (:

  • Whats the price of this very product now?

  • where did u buy it

  • was thinking of getting this laptop u helped me out m8 thanks for making the video! =D btw what proccesor is this on?

  • @NinjasOfTheNeon An Intel Core i3 CPU M-370 @ 2.40GHz, first generation.

  • @Rakyer0 thanks m8 =D

  • @Rakyer0 thanks m8 =D may i ask how much ram has it got?

  • @NinjasOfTheNeon 4 GB DD3 RAM

  • @Rakyer0 tyvm m8 =D

  • @Rakyer0 i have the same type of labtop but mine has 8 GB ram and i can only play on low settings.

  • @Rakyer0 I was wondering if you have Dell Inspiron 15R with an intel core i3 or i5, i hear that i5 is better but i wanted an opinion from someone who plays WoW :]

  • how would it play without the radeon? and the video card isnt integrated so i can change it later right?

  • Would I need to buy a cooling pad for an inspiron 15r if I was gonna be playing wow for about 5hrs a day?

  • @WOWvmaker you can get it from laptopsdirect for under 500

  • I play WoW And my PC has had it, it has SO much lag, and when it is running okay (and it has the ULTRA lagg on the lowest graphic settings) and it then shuts down because of the power that WoW requires, so am in the Market for a new laptop, how much is this laptop, and where from, and if any1 can recommend a better one plzzz, keeping in mind my budget is £500 Yes £500 Because I'm 14, and the cash is out of my own back pocket

  • Faggot alliance would put in a gay intro he thought was funny.

  • how did you get ATI mobility radeon inside your laptop? did you have to open up your computer and manually install it?

  • @xHySTeRiA671x no you order it with it

  • Sorry to bother you again haha, but I've got one last question that I thought about the other day: Are there any parts sold-seperately you would recommend getting (Graphics cards, RAM cards, etc)? I getting this laptop but I wasn't sure if there was something sold seperately or not.

  • @welcome2tehjungle I bought this off of dell.com, and adding the graphics card (ATI Mobility Radeon HD 550v) added an extra $120 to the price tag but is mandatory if you are going to play any higher-end games on this laptop. Other than that, everything included in the laptop was already included in the price.

  • Two Questions:

Do you know if this laptop can run World of Warcraft in its entirety (Original WoW + Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, And Cataclysm)? What I'm getting at is can this laptop run Cataclysm?

Could this laptop run Cataclysm on medium-max settings favorably?

  • @welcome2tehjungle Yes. I play on mostly High/Ultra settings and it runs fine in Cata zones. I noticed that in Tol Barad, the FPS can take a huge hit depending on how many people are on screen and what they're doing. (i.e. AoE)

  • @Rakyer0 Another question I forgot about: Can you do raids (WotLK, Cata, or otherwise) on this laptop? Ive also seen a few videos that portray the dell inspiron 15r negatively. Whats your take on it? Do you think its a good laptop?

  • @welcome2tehjungle Yeah. I was doing 10-man BoT the other day and other than a few wipes it was pretty smooth and I didn't notice any real performance issues. As for your other two questions, some people think the laptop sucks because they ended up getting an intergrated graphics card with this laptop and that seriously brings the performance down by a ton. This laptop is great for the price and if you check out my other videos on games like Crysis, you'll see what it's really capable of.

  • im getting this laptop for the exact same reason

  • how long does it take to turn on ?

  • what graphics card do you recommend i buy that would work with this laptop and be able to play wow on about the max settings with minimal lag????

  • what hdd do u use ? i have read that many have problems with 5400 rpm hdd in laptops .when u play wow on them they freeze lag sometimes do u have the same problem ? thx

  • I just ordered the computer a day ago, and i was thinking of getting with no video card, good thing I did!! it's worth the extra $100!

  • THANK YOU SOOO MUCH

  • I got a couple of questions for you and the public :)

1)Can this computer run minecraft and wow at the same time not at the same performance as playing one of the two but still being able to play both simultaneously?

2)Is there a big difference in getting a 3GB Ram instead of 4GB? and ty for the vid :)

  • @Marksliphead It should be able to run both simultaneously, although I don't see why you would want to. The amount of RAM you get can affect things such as loading speeds and the overall speed of your computer, so a lower amount of RAM means things will overall be slower than if you had more. 1GB less of RAM will impact performance a bit, but it shouldn't be too bad.

  • @Marksliphead yes minecraft doesn't take alot to play wow is a simple game idk about minecraft i play both including bfh you should look into it

  • wow the speakers sound really nice. the fan isn't loud is it?

  • how long does it take to get this shipped in the mail from the time you order it?

  • Couple of questions, the first of which is probably kinda stupid: Do you think your laptop could run Minecraft at max settings at a favorable framerate? Also, I've read a lot of reviews of the Inspiron 15r, and the only common complaint is the keyboard feels 'cheap'. Would you agree with that?

  • @BioSim08 To answer your first question, Minecraft does run very well on this laptop. If you look at my Minecraft videos, you can see how well it runs. (and that's with Fraps recording) As for the second question, I can agree that the keyboard does feel a bit flimsy, but it is a durable keyboard. All keys still work fine and well even after gaming a ton on this thing. A cheap keyboard is to be expected of a cheaper laptop, but it's a small price to pay for the specs that you get.

  • YESSS!! THIS LAPTOP is supposed to get here today!!! YESS!!!! thanks for the vid, it just made my life better xD

  • i still much recommend 5650

I recommend the 5650 or 435M as the bare mininum for laptop gamers.

  • Just a quick question. Do you think your laptop would run DC Universe Online?

  • @Oracle12 Yes, it would definitely run it. It passes all minimum requirements and it should play fairly well. It may not be able to run favorably on maximum settings, but I can guarantee that it will run. Then again, I don't have the game and I probably won't be getting it so I wouldn't know how well it would run for sure.

  • @Rakyer0

    Thank you so much.

  • i only use my laptop to play simple games like wow GW and sometimes teamfortess the 550v graphics is a preety good simple graphics card i only hardcore game on my xbox 360

  • how many frames per second do u get on those settings?

  • Comment removed

  • Have you played with Cataclysm? If so does it run just as smoothly?

  • @lusciouslipsXx of corse u wouldnt imagine what kind of laptop i used to use when i played wow the 550v graphics would run cataclysm smoothly without any problems

  • Thanks for the video - very helpful. :)

  • How expensive was this?

  • Would you suggest this laptop for gaming if i made this video card higher?

  • ha wow can run on pretty much any computer it ran fine on my old ibm thinkpad g41 and it has terrible specs

  • Hi man, nice video. i've this same laptop and i having the error 134 with this. it is equal in its aspects, but I'm having this error, you have some solution that I can do, I really want to play. Thanks!

  • more then helpful, thank you! wow ran flawless

  • Awesome. My husband and I just purchased this laptop. This video was incredibly helpful.

  • Thanks for the video! It convinced me to pull the trigger on this laptop. Dell is running a 2 day sale and the deal was too good to pass up. Based on your videos I'm REALLY impressed with the performance (for the price).

  • does WoW play well on this? i am thinking of getting this laptop

  • I guess I will be the first to "Like" this :) It is exactly what i wanted to see when i searched for "Dell Inspiron 15r WoW". Just exactly how well the game plays on high res :) thanks man!

  • @jimryanajones No problem, glad you liked it. :)

  • @jimryanajones Same!

  • Nice one mate :) how much memmory u got on your ATI Radeon graphic card? 512 or 1024?

  • @byko11 It has 1 gig.

  • Dude, whats the technic carracters of your pc ? I'm thinking about bying the 15R but some guys told me that games can destroy it!

Mine will be an Intel i3, 4Go of RAM DDR3, ATI radeon HD 5460 ..

  • @Raagnarokk Honestly, this laptop is amazing. If you watched my other video, I ran Fallout: New Vegas on High settings and without Fraps I can run that at 40+ FPS. I also ran the Crysis demo and my laptop ran it on High settings with about 20-25 FPS. Not very impressive, but it can at least run.

My specs for this laptop are:

    Laptop Specs:

    Intel Core i3 CPU M-370 @ 2.40GHz

    4 GB DD3 RAM

    ATI Mobility Radeon HD 550v

Depending on the game, you may have to sacrifice some settings.

  • @Rakyer0 I saw all your videos and thats realy great to see that the inspiron R15 can run the lastest games, but i read in some forums that it is not done for games, this can damage it time after time.. By the way, i will receive it tomorrow and i can't wait to try CRISIS!

  • @Rakyer0 oh wow i think im getting the one with 6gb ram, i5 processor and 2.5ghz so itll be even smoother?!?! awesome sauce lol.
