  • Paul King is a natural front man for a band. He looks like he's having a lot of fun. And of course, a great song and excellent backup.

  • Saw these at Hudds Poly: Great:-)))))

  • Great song, but pity he was so bad at miming. Same on the vid, his lips never moved in synch.

  • a Quality tune !

  • lay off the bleach m8!!!

  • King were so much better than Queen, but not as good as Prince. Princess was pretty crap.

  • King were a great band!! So much underrated. I once drew a picture of Paul King from King and my brother very much admired it.

  • i've loved this song so much :-)

  • Shiz! Who the funk was the No.1?

    Quality!!!

  • @andziazet

Elaine Paige And Barbara Dickson - I Know Him So Well

  • The dog's bollocks

  • New Wave took a last breath before dying with this song in 1985. It's a classic.

  • the video response by me is of my band who has been mentored by King Keyboard player Mick Roberts, Check them out!

  • N# 2 FEB 85 KEPT OFF TOP SPOT BY Elaine Paige & Barbara Dickson.DONT YOU JUST LOVE THE 80`S

  • @eddietheturdburglar Did the Music Police not investigate this heinous crime? Or possibly Elaine Paige's 1985 hairstyle was too difficult to get past.

  • I want a 4-poster-bedroom like that!

  • Classic song love and pride good times

  • I don't suppose you have any more videos of King? I seem to remember a song called "The Fridge" that was brilliant. Not sure it was a hit, though?

  • @steviej815 Kissed the Spikey Fridge - from their classic Steps in Time album.

  • @westendboy84 Thanks for reminding me, it was the 80's and the old memory is starting to fade. It all seems like a lifetime ago. 30 yrs ago in fact. I don't suppose you have the album Steps in Time that you could upload just the audio "Kissed the Spikey Fridge" You can always just make up a powerpoint presentation of photos of the band as a visual?

  • @steviej815 i did have the LP once, the album is being re-released this summer (on CD for the first time - i think..?) - will buy it for sure....

  • That;s worth my heart.. "Jeugdjournaal" !?

  • Paul King was MTV vj on the 90's..

  • Thats bono isnt it?!!!

U2 didnt officially record anything at all that year.

I knew he was up to something!!!! And that something was good!

Must have been on stilts tho. .

    (In the name of love)

  • Great song but those hairsyles! OMG! Whether 80s or not how could anyone think that looked great?!!!! Good advice people: NEVER be a slave to 'fashion'! - it'll only come back to haunt you! Thanks to 80smusicdude for posting!

  • This actually sold 600,000 copies!!.

  • he is yummy....:P

  • miming is sooo shit. i hate top of the pops for making people mime.. bloody idiot producers... if miming was banned from the show, it would really show up alot of shit acts

  • its called lip syncing. lol you said miming. i guess its the same thing. @therealLucianWolf. *sighs* I love english people

  • It should be a crime to be this good-looking.

  • you mean the guy with the horse face?

  • He happens to be a very good-looking horse!

  • I lived in Scotland for a brief 6 mths and this song was in the charts at that time-have the LP (my kids question what it is now LOL). thanks for the memories!

  • King ar gay , this a good number

  • It was underrated cos like lots of the other 80s stuff it couldn't be pigeonholed. Look at the X factor: Lots of the contestants are good in their own right & can write their own music not sing cover versions. Corporate greed killed off 80's origiality but it can return with the net.

  • I SO agree, corporate greed and people like Simon Cowell killed off all originality until all music has become homogenised and sanitised as it is today.

  • Perhaps more "Satanised" when you're talking about Corporate Pop Svengalis? :-)))

  • One of the BEST bands of the 80s, so much underrated like a lot of 80s stuff, this is pure class in a glass. And Paul King was so gorgeous in those days, our era gets ignored so much it smacks of ignorance.

  • @UKSazzy67 i remember this when i was a lad,, the Uk scene was very vibrant in the 80s with what you'd call 'Brit Pop'

  • nice pants.............

  • Kewlness

  • Dances a bit like michael jackson

  • Mmm theyre so good

  • crinch.... :)

  • I kissed my husband for the first time on this number! We are married now for 19,5 years! King brought us good luck.

  • 'take your hairdryer and blow them all away...' I fancied this man. I thought I had good taste in music. scary.... can't stop singing it tho!

  • Loved this song. I was only 15 at the time and spent my school days singing this with my mates all day long.

  • Another underated band ?

    For sure !

Coz it was another one of the bests !!!

  • com'erano belle le canzoni una volta...

  • always gets me humming away when i hear this
