Nice truck. I love the stance and patina. I have a 68 short step with a 3''/ 5'' static drop. Nice touch with the rag....LOL....Some people don't get it.

Wow, what a beautiful truck. I have a 65' stepside and wanted to convert it ot a fleetside but this makes me want to keep it like it was born. Was it hard to do the airbags? Did you have to modify or chop alot? What about the front clip?

The long wheel base stepsides also had tire cut outs, I have a set. I'm working on a backhalfed 4 link bagged '60 GMC short step right now. Sick truck tho!

Not all of them had the tire cut outs, Have seen alot of them without the cutout on lwb's but have not seen a stock shorty without the cutout. I don't know the the facts about this option i am just basing this on my experience.

u should chop about 3 inches off the roof, It would make the truck look a hell of a lot better. that & It would give the rat rod look a lil more aggression. thats what rat rod are known for.
