God Bless Ken Dodd! I was in England, as a teen, from 1976-1981 and Loved Ken Dodd's show! I remember strapping all this junk to him (like a manaquin's leg, etc.). And singing "Happiness" at the end of his program. I miss watch his show, Top of the Pops, Match of the Day. I wondered what had happened to Ken; I went back to England from 1984-1987 (my two oldest daughters were born there), but was not able to find any info on Ken. Great wisdom in this, his trademark sign.!!!

Thanks Willie Taylor for posting this video and your message. Ken Dodd is a truly great man who has sang some very meaningful and tuneful songs (Think of me is another one) and told thousands of funny jokes. He came to our parish centre as part of a charity gala a few years ago and spent as much time and effort for free as if he were being paid (in other words, he went into the early hours as usual!). A real giant among comedians and a true gentleman.
