Well the L7 has a greater cone surface area so at low volumes, it does put out slightly more bass than the W7. HOWEVER, the W7 has some 3x the excursion than the L7, calculated with the cone area moves more air when pushed hard than the L7. Basically, if you can afford one, get the W7. Also, check out FI, Digital Designs, RE, they make MONSTER subs for great prices and are very impressive in terms of bass reproduction.

@sik50s That's just the cameras, most aren't good with SPL, with good speakers the bass doesn't take over. Most people push their system to the limits when test bass to put on youtube anyways. I just got my Kaption 10 in my new box and put it in my truck at school today. I had the door wide open and my teacher was right beside me trying to tell me to turn it off. I didn't know only 200 watts and a 10 could make that much bass but it did. Btw the song could have something to do with lack of bass.

On a side note, how did it sound? I have an old 250/1 amp but no sub to put into my new car; was the power enough to make that sub sound good? (Always really hard to tell in a video vs real life.)
