I rebuilt a roller 305 as a joke with parts I had left over from my 400 that threw a rod in my jet boat. I put the AFR aluminum 194 heads on it with a comp roller cam with 540 lift and a 110 ...1.6 roller rockers Team G Weind high rise single plane intake holley 750 carb open large tube headers an electric water pump. I run her at 5600 rpms all day at 75 mph on my jet boat...That's 5 mph faster than my 400. I can't tell the difference on the water
That cool man. Upload a video so we can hear it. My 305 has been running great. I get tons of compliments on how nasty it sounds. I will put a video on soon so you can hear it with the glass packs I put on it. thanks for your comments.

nasty nasty baby i love her to, my grandpa once gave my father one of these with 3 on the tree and the 350 small block, not long after they both transfered the shifter to the floor and into a 4-speed transmission. this was about 10 years ago, he used to drive me to kindergardten and school in this truck, we would what felt like getting AIR , off this hump on the way to school. she would backfire sounded like gun shots. my father was in his early 30s at the time and lets just say THEYTookHer4EVER
@lt1fan94 I got the 305HO for $500 and the motor had been rebuilt only 20'000 miles ago. Already had a new edlebrock carb ($300)...that means I only had $200 bucks in the motor. I have very little money in the motor....I just wanted good sound, better gas mileage and it worked for me.

Why did you build a 305? The same parts on a 350 would have made a lot more power. Nice truck anyway
