  • Soooooo jealous!

  • Good job on this!! Your technique is amazing. Enjoyed this video. Keep up the good work!

  • @Pianoman42100 thanks! this video is VERY old. I spin differently now, and probably better now that it has been 5 years since then!

  • gloves? really?

  • thats so cool is there anything u cant do ots just simply amazing i do pit and guard and brass and woodwinds and im still in high school

  • You're amazing!

  • im not sure if it's bad video quality or what, but it actually makes this look really cool. lol. good job :)

  • If that rifle is 4 lbs, I would be SOOO pissed. good job though. But I have a reason for that, write back to find out.

  • HEY! drumline or guard. you can't be both.

  • @oxysean lmfao - says who!?

  • @KrayzeKriZ the geneva convention. look it up.

  • Okay ^-^

  • Just asking is this from Blue Devils?

  • Lol, nope. :p

  • This is beautiful... can you come teach my colorguard? Teehee

  • If you're local, sure. ;)

  • well... I'm in NC... If you're anywhere around here, come see us! XD

  • I thought you'd be in front ensemble not gaurd XD

either way your amazing at both

  • you're so awesome!!!

i've never seen a guy do rifel before...

that was good keep it up =)

  • shit ...dude ur tosses are fucking SOLID AMAZING!!!

  • not impresed by a 2 pound rifle and it looks gay

  • ok someone whos name is ducktape1212 shouldnt be telling anyone that they look gay.

  • this looks so gay. u need to be in the band twirling a baton.

  • amazingg! great job -- better work it!!

  • Aha. Thank you! :)

  • The precision was amazing! Loved it!

  • Thanks =)

  • That was brilliant!! Great job with catching and expression. You definitely owned that rifle. =]

  • auhhh, thats my song for this years competitions, love the work. (:

  • ...I should've watched this one first, considering I didn't do sabre in the work, but I did in fact use rifle, that you did in fact just own the life out of. Nice =]

  • flip flops? have fun when you hurt your feet with the rifle.

  • I haven't yet - and I've been spinning for over 7 years.

  • forget this man its all about the armed fancy drill team from ROTC.

  • You amaze me, with your cleanness and solidity on all your catches.

    Geez...just keep being awesome :D

  • Thanks :)

  • Kray is da man!!

    Nuff said! xD

  • Kray is da man!

    Nuff said :)

  • i don't know what it is.. i just hate non musical work... it just seemed like that routine could go to any song..

  • If you think about it, and work can go to any song.

  • also not all rifles are made of plastic! it just so happens that the one i spin is wood!!!!

  • i deffinitely agree with him. Thats nuthing but ingnorance. Drill teams and colorguard are totally different things. You may have a heavier rifle but u don't dance and toss with it either. Know your info b4 you judge!

  • This isn't the same thing as a "drill team" for ROTC.

    Take your ignorance elsewhere.

  • thisw would be COLORGUARD

not ROTC or whatever the other is called

  • this is really dumb i dont see what the point in fighting on who is better the who. at my school rotc and colorguard get along really well we try each others weapons and watch each other perform so really we dont have to have this colorguard rotc war going on we are both awesome and i think if you are going to be saying this you dont deserve to be spinning a weapon because we represent something when we do be it our country or our school

  • I really love that song =] You're awesome. Keep spinning!

  • dude that rifle is super light .. how much pounds is it . like 3 or 4 . the one i spin is 10.5

  • I'm sorry? I don't really care.

  • lol i spin piece of pipe 110 cm long, weights about 2 kilos

  • This isn't military drill, don't be an asshole. What you and I do DERIVES from band color and winter guards. It's a lot harder to coordinate your movements in between your footwork and the beat of a piece of music.

  • Your free hand makes me giggle. I had the same problem at first...All the work was really awesome though.

  • My free hand? Which part are you talking about, because I bring my hands down on the tosses. I don't leave them up.

  • Exactly...I guess that's what you were taught but the way I learned was to keep a strong release hand(2-at the shoulder, 3-make an "L", 4-slightly above the head, 5 and up are a full release...).

I know for a fact it isn't just my guard that does this. But anyway, I guess it doesn't matter because everything is taught slightly different from area to area.

  • I agree, that's the same way i was taught...i don't know how judges think about it, but i know it makes a squad look more sharp and clean. if that makes sense at all :-D But Krayzekriz, you look good!

  • Oh oh oh! That!

Yeah I was taught that in high school ---

Then when I marched Braddock Independent World, and they don't have freehands. You bring them down whenever you toss at Braddock.

    So there's different techniques :)

  • Was that a 5 at the end? Vry nicee. You're lucky you can spin in the middle of the road; if I did that, I'd be dead before I even got to the middle. Rifle's my favorite, yer really good.

  • A 6 :).

Lol, My neighborhood is pretty quiet. So yeah, it's very fortunate!

  • wow really good work. and whats the song???

  • The song is Hello by Evanescence. :) The work for that is great, by the way!

  • hey, awesome job, man! forget the haters, you're really good. I didn't really expect to get good results when i searched for colorguard, seeing as how most don't even know what it is, but you really surprised me! i love rifle!

  • wow, thats really nice, if only it was a real rifle then you'd have something, show us when you learn to spinn a real rifle that doesn't weigh 1 pound

  • Real rifle, lol. Sorry man, I'm not in ROTC. Thusly, I'm not spinning a "real rifle". Soooo, yeah. Don't think that you're like a hardass or something. Thanks!

  • freaking amazing... Props for doing it all in flip flops and not loosing one!!!

  • Hahaha, in one of my takes there's a part where I step on my sandal and almost fall on my face.

    Not youtube friendly :)

  • lol... the girls in my guard like flip flops... they fall all the time lol

  • I do but obviously I don't like slipping on them i like pounding my face in with the rifle LOL. But i where flip flops every day but i CAN"T spin in them it drives me up the wall when i can't move in them thats why i love bear claws :P

  • I agree the behind the back catch was so solid

and it was at an angle PLUS one handed.

    thats skill.

  • Hahaha, thank you!

  • No problem.

    I'm doing my first solo

    well not like spotlight solo

    in ensembles Ive done

    those but

    actually by myself this year.

I could only dream mine looks like this

  • It can! Just don't write any work that you have second thoughts about. The moment you are like "ahh, I don't know if I want this in or not" take it out! Only write work that is fun for you to do, that you can do confidently.

With confidence, practice, and a good attitude, you'd be surprised at what would be accomplished!

    Good luck with that! :)

  • i agree, extremely solid and clean. my favorite part

  • Awesome.

  • omg. I love that behind the back toss. Not just because it's kewl, but because it's sooo solid. How do u do that?

  • Took some practice, but I've known that trick for a good while, so it's kind of muscle memory.

    Thanks :)

  • awesome!!!! I bet the kids did just as well haha

  • Great job!! Nicely executed!

  • OUTSTANDING!!!

  • what are you a majorette

  • Lol. Thanks for the laugh.

  • great technique on your tosses! i love the angle toss after your grab it under your leg. i have to try that!

  • Love it!

  • nice job man

  • Hahah versatility is such an interesting thing in people. You never learn, entirely that is, just what it is they can do.

  • nice! I wish my school still had rifle, all of our rifles were stolen so now we only have flags. Nice job though I bet it looks cool with all the right movements

  • awesome job. im just learning how to work with rifles but ive only done flags.

  • not my area of knowledge so i dont really know enough about it to correctly judge it

you move your body alot more than i would think you should though

    cud be wrong

  • "Dance" is supposed to be incorporated with it. I just didn't really do too much with it, because I was in sandals, and in the middle of the street (haha). There's supposed to be more movement, actually.

  • Great technique!

  • I love strap-work! OMG so great!

  • i <3 to see guys spin rifle! they're SO much better at it than girls.. no effense to us.. but they just got more muscle! BUT NiCE.. pretty clean!

  • This is great!@

  • if i was in a car driving by this i would laugh im not even gonna lie. it looks nice, but not nice for a drill solo. 1, because that rifle weighs about 3 pounds and 2, because there is no drill in it. it honestly reminds me of ballet. but other than that, it did look somewhat interesting! gj.

  • That's because it ISN'T a drill solo. Are you dumb?

  • awh. you're so pretty!!! i love it.

  • what is this song?

  • that was great! great song and work ^_^

  • that was pretty good...better then i can do. :)

  • fag

  • Thanks. I love you too, prick. [=

  • youre a jerk and youre probably just jealous that you cant do anything that cool.

  • ur techniques aber pretty good... u should work more with ur bode - the song's smooth,so ur moves should be...

  • Thanks! You can thank Braddock Independent for that one. I marched with them in 2006

  • :)))
