  • how did you cut the hole in the can?

  • @ITT06 I drilled a hole big enough to fit a loose coping saw blade into and cut it out by hand, if I'd had a jig saw I would have used that which would be easier!

  • Woohoo, Just found out this video made the Movie Quest free for all runners up playlist on Indy Mogul!

  • when i was five this was my costume

  • @reznoz cool!

  • @reznoz Groovy!

  • @reznoz ;)

  • awesome acent and i used some of your ideas for the shirt but the chainsaw i made kinda diffrent and it sucked

  • @TheMortalkombatdude Well at least you had a go, is that the one in your Evil Dead 2 reenactment video? Have you seen the BFX chainsaw arm tutorial on Indy Mogul? Thats another way to make one!

  • @ThePhantomMonk it is you saw that video high five man and ya i did but i couldnt get all the parts so i might try your idea or just buy a stor bought chainsaw and mod it up a bit

  • Oh yeah, and I got a real chainsaw in my garage, so... Maybe I'll cut my arm off or something

  • Im half way through makeing the gun need the cardboard strip of cardboard milk cartern bits bottle tops glued on and then the painting and glue the barrels on

  • what type of paint did you use to paint the chainsaw red

  • @leothelion19 Spray paint, I forget what make but it was just a cheap one!

  • BTW how did you make that deadite mask it looks awesome

  • @leothelion19 Thanks that was my first attempt at making a latex mask! I sculpted it in oil based clay on a head armature I made then cast it in plaster, painted latex into the mould and then painted the mask. I've added a link in the description to some photos if you want to have a look.

  • I've started make-ing my ash costume already cut the sleeves and right bit and back a little bit of the back of the shirt gonna get the achrilic paints in a bit

  • @leothelion19 Great, let us know how it goes!

  • @cscrick Thanks very much!

  • @ThePhantomMonk How much did this cost for everything?

  • @blindkids It cos me about £50 that includes £16 for the trousers, £4 for the shirt and about £10 on paint! But the more stuff you can recycle the cheaper it'll be!

  • @ThePhantomMonk thanks! looking forward to putting this together

  • @blindkids Great, let me know how it goes!

  • BTW, how did you cut out the egg slicer to make the cooling vents?

  • @MoNsTeRsQuAdfan It was a real cheap plastic egg slicer and I used a coping saw to cut it out, then cleaned up the rough edges with sand paper.

  • I do have photos, but I've only made one out of the Homelite XL chainsaw. It was a "model/rough draft" start to see what I'm able to make and what I needed to change. If you have a facebook look me up, Josh Lycans, there's a pic of the finished chainsaw in the albulm PROJECTS.

  • Brilliant! Another stroke of genius from you! Maybe I shall give it a go........ ;0)

  • @MissKimiboo Yeah, you could make one for Martin!

  • @ThePhantomMonk Yeah! Make me an Ash costume Kimmy!

  • Egg slicer! Perfect! GENIUS! I make the Evil Dead chainsaws out of the INdy Mogul vids and from the Homelite XL chainsaws and have been wanting to make the muffler piece, and now all i have to do is get an egg slicver, make a clay mold of it, then cast it in resin! PERFECT THANX! GREAT VID!

  • @MoNsTeRsQuAdfan Thanks, I'm glad I could help! Have you posted pics or vids of your chainsaws online anywhere? I'd love to have a look!

  • great tutorial - love it! thanks for the music plug too :o)

  • @rickvanman cheers, glad you liked it!
