  • 8:59 Haha, from when they used to think the world was flat.

  • Like if your still watching this in 2012!!!

  • this show needs to come back on, disney has become crap

  • couldn't he just pay the first one in line??

  • LOL the warning was also written in Spanish.

  • lol at the flat world xD

  • 1:10 its the artist from the movie (the one who freaks when the vase painting gets messed up)!

  • all yall need to get over yorself

  • Ha!when they they thought the earth was flat XD

  • I'm pretty sure a Greek scientist discovered that the Earth was round in this time period--so what's with the flatland?

  • getting taught Geometry by Euclid, himself. . .that would be interesting

  • Adonis = Gay Lord

  • LOL, the flat earth with only Greece on it.

  • adonas is such a........ FREAK AND A WIMP thumb up if you agree.

  • @tomboy9614

Sthu, the other prsn was just making a point, not to mention they said it ONE WHOLE YEAR AGO

  • okay, tat settles it, I love the Muses!:)

  • Sein Schrei ist der Wahnsinn LOL

  • HAHA FLAT SQUARE WORLD

  • Pan had hair in "King for a day". I still love the songs of this episode though, the best of the entire series.

  • did anyone else notice that the sign was translated into spanish? XD

  • If you (like the ancients) have nothing but your naked eyes to study the world, the Earth appears flat. There's one exception: You can tell, that the Earth is round, when you look out at a sea, and a ship appears at the horizon. But still, even though already the ancients noticed this, not everybody had the knowledge, that Earth was round and not flat, and it wasn't until the 1600s, that it was generally accepted.

  • @Furienna Actually, a Ancient Greek philosopher (can't remember his name at the moment, you might be able to find him on Google) speculated that the Earth was round because of the sea (which you mentioned above) and because if you stand on the tallest mountain of a mountain range, you still can't see everything (which you would if the world was flat). He even put two sticks upright mile apart and measured the length of each at the same time. One was longer, proving the world was round.

  • @JakobDailes: Hey! I think I found the name of that philosopher: Erastothes of Alexandria!

  • @JakobDailes Sounds like Euclid. Awesome story, thanks!

  • @JakobDailes I meant he measured the length of each shadow, btw.

  • Aren't there supposed to be 9 muses?

  • Yes, but four of them had to be left out. The five ones, who we get to see here, are at 0:46 from left to right: Calliope (head-band), Clio (pony-tail), Melpomene (loose hair), Terpsichore (spiky hair) and Thalia (the short fat one). The four ones, who were left out, would be Erato, Euterpe, Polyhymnia and Urania.

  • i wonder what kind of homework the students would get back then.

  • Well, since that school is like a modern High School, albeit with a ancient Greek touch, I guess the homework wouldn't be so different from what you and I are used to.

  • @Furienna

    oh, thanks!

  • You're welcome. I only recently learned their names myself.

  • nope never mind

  • why do i have a feeling Demeter/Persephonie is behond the roots in the pool

  • GAH! Disney really needs to read up on there Greek History... Rome followed in Greece's footsteps, not vice-versa

  • @JoyRay156 Dude, Which one of the shows have followed Greek myths precisely? Or even moderately? If you don't like, don't watch.

  • 5:23 Cas looks totally diffrent her hairs brunette and her hair is more wavey sorta she looks much better that way

  • my moms name is gia! and it is pronounced jee-uh

  • my moms name is gia!

  • oh my god!! the guy painting adonas's toes is the same guy who paints the vaces in the movie wow

  • i thought gaia was a godess

  • the world is flat? oh yeah that's b.c.

  • gaia looks younger of the god of war one lol

  • Adonis' narcissism gets on not only Hercules' nerves, but also on the gods' nerves, and this episode is a splendid example of that! Along with the episodes "The Visit from Zeus" and "The Poseidon Cup Adventure". He's so in love with himself that it annoys everybody!

  • adonis+prience hood = Gay Pince shit

  • I don't get it. If Adonis is so lazy then how come he looks in good shape?

  • He's afraid of two star resturants, AND paints his townails? Does anybody else think Adonis is some big weenie?

  • @Mammalmage yes he is some big royal weenie

  • @Mammalmage Did you just notice? I knew he was a big weenie ever since episode one, where he kept commanding his guards to do stuff FOR him.

  • @Mammalmage or gay....

  • @496gonfishin Highschool Musical gay.

  • @Mammalmage lol ya =)

  • how did adonis get so in shape if he's too lazy to even move? lol

  • @werecatgirl ya

  • He's still a teenager, and many teenagers don't need to exercise much to be in shape. That problems catches up with them later in life. It's also not impossible, that Adonis does sports (he seemed to be good at Gym in "the visit from Zeus") and such, but won't do anything practical, when there are servants around to do it for him.

  • I hate pea brained bigots.

  • hahahah i love the spanish on the sign at the beginning!

  • i now a two star resturant is crappy but not dangerous

  • "There is no problem money can't solve."

"You are cursed to die at sunset."

    "WHAT? NOOOO!"

    LOL! Nice timing.

Okay, if Icarus can love Cassandra despite her predictions of doom and her despaired attitude then either his love is real or he's just lusting after her because she's attractive. Considering there are more attractive girls (stereotypically that is) I might opt for the first one. That is I would, but he's a little creepy with his crush at times...hope he matures in the future.

  • you are too die at sunset funney scene

  • this was my first ever episode of this series

  • i <3<3<<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3 it

  • hääääää

    I

    I

    I

    I

    I

    I

i dont have ridden this one ...

  • thats absolutely right. And whats even worse, in the 19th century the British dug up tens of thousands of ordinary mummies{not all of them were buried like Tut}and ship them back home to Britain to be recycled for fuel and paper manufacturing.

  • As long as they're saving the trees! :D

  • <3<3<3<3<y3<3<3<33<<33<3<3<3<<3

    iCiiiiiiiiii

  • well its very highly experimental, of course, although the secretions that leeches have in their mouths that allow for blood clotting are being studied for stroke and heart attack uses.

Theres also been some experiments with the ancient practice of introducing maggots into a severely infected wound to clean out septic flesh that doesnt respond to modern antibiotics.lol, pretty gross, but apparently its been effective for some people.

  • oiddly enough the leech thing has come full circle. Its nuts to have a leech suck a fever out of you{it wont work} but modern surgeons have experimented with placing leeches on brain tissue during operations because they have an exquisite ability to clear out bloodclots and stop bleeding.

  • They didnt have telescopes back then and had to rely on their eyesight and practical evidence until they were invented in the ....1500s?? somewhere around there.

  • wasn't miatus the king with the golden touch?

  • His name is Midas, and yes, they even mentioned it in the song. I feel really sorry for him in that myth, where Apollon curses him with donkey ears, just because he liked Pan's music better. Gah, those gods really were unfair some times. There's also the time, when Medusa was punished for having sex in Athena's temple, even though she had been raped. And let's not forget how Hera treated Hercules in the "real" myths! Gaah!

  • @Furienna That's why you have to love the disney version. LOL. But i agree. Especially Zeus man. His mother saved his life and how does he repay her, HE BECOMES A SEX BOUND TYRANT.

  • Well, that's probably how many real leaders on Earth was, so it's no wonder, that the ancients saw their gods that way.

  • adonas is so greedy and rude!

  • @MKTrny yes.....nemesis? if you wanna smite him i wouldn't object.....and why gaia southern? also bob is voiced by bob! aka robert stack!

  • @MKTrny And thankfully, he's a chicken! XD

  • Seriously you cant tell. Use some common sense how ridiculous would it sound back then that all planets are round. Their greatest telescope was comparable to a cheap pair of binoculars by todays standards. They also thought leeches sucking your blood was good medicine.

  • that adonis, is soo annoy and too way much selfish. all he think is himself, too much.

  • he's superficial too

  • gaia the mother earth titan

  • A: So maybe this curse maybe not be fatal..blah blah

C:I see Adonius laying down to die

    A: Argh *scared*

LOL, that cracked me up xD

  • Gaia here looks alot lile the Gaia from God of war 2 only that she sounds different.

  • `Hey whats wrong with 2 star resturants` HAHAHHAHAAHA

  • 3:41

Hm... King Midas has a different design here than he does in "The Golden Touch."

  • He has? I always thought it was the same.

  • Gaia sounds southern...

  • hehe, that is funny...the earth is flat

  • lol, there are actually people now that believe the earth is flat (idiots) they are called The Flat Earth Society. Its insane.

  • yeah, hard to believe they ever existed and still do, although the official society is more or less defunct. There are people totally against vaccinations nowadays too, cause they assume that id people dont get diseases any more the germ has ceased to exist.

  • Cute.If I skip all the disney twists in greek mythology, there is a good humor runnin' here.Needless info:I'm Thracian myself.

  • rotfl at the ending seconds.

  • heh love how the earth is flat

  • spoiled snot faced brat prince. he deserves to die.

  • Gaia supposed to be a girl but her voice sounded like a man

  • :D She's huge so her voice is low. :)

  • i thought it sounded a little southern too.

  • what is the curse?

  • Death at sunset.

  • always loaded at the wrong time of my life

  • OMZ... this is the only episode i saw before you put up these episodes!! :)
