  • Me don't want no dirty money, nooooo. ... me don't want no dirty money..."

    Funny Jamaican english. Grammatically

  • ...and Romania!

  • shout out to eddy grant reppin guyana!!!!

  • Yeah just reading rasorder's comments re Brixton and the 'Frontline'. Wasn't this Atlantic Rd or where the outdoor market is held on Sundays? (went there many years ago) Electric Avenue is Brixton too isnt it? As soon as I heard this again I could see the news footage of the '81 riots in my head - reminds me too of Toxteth at the time (I lived there for about 12 years. ) Powerful music.

  • A classic favorite!

  • Memorable Top Tune! Big Up to this one and remember? Old Vinyl never

    dies, it just Warps!

  • ''me no want nobody money,

the isle of the sugar me no want to see''

    - is this the correct lyric? this is what i hear.

but when you google the lyrics, it says ''me no want nobody money,

there lord they sugar me no want to see''

that can't be right? does it even make sense?

  • "what kind of man could i be if i cant talk about what i see"

  • pentz1.........Rich he might of been at this stage in his life, but in his early years, he was part of the poorest poverty stricken people.

He had to fight, and fight hard, mainly from polatitions and law inforcment officer who did not like people exspressing their freedom of speach. Must of been hard, back then in the 80's. Today its simple, just log on to youtube and sing a record. EDDY GRANT, a poor boy who became famouse, not for his music but for his WORDS.

  • But the message is truth, so beat it.
