It's really sad to think that after all that money spent on an LP640 and getting 545AWHP when you can get a Shelby GT500, 03/04 Cobra, or any newer Corvette Z06 and put say $50k into it, and have a car that would absolutely ass ram these cars and still cost less. Unless you just like the look of these cars and the sound of them, they are absolutely worthless.

@cbmb2647 every cars has less hp on tires....this applies to all cars...for an example, if mustang has 300hp, on dyno, it will state less hp as the weight of the car/tyre size is the factor...

@bastian38 - I do need to re-edit that one..... All of the cars did hit redline, and the LP640 recorded an amazing 545 horsepower at the tires on the all wheel drive dyno.

@s1dnac1t Just like 512BBi said, its 545 HP to the wheels. The engine makes 640HP. When you factor in drive train loss the car puts down 545HP to the wheels. AWD cars take a bigger % loss when compared to RWD, same with automatic cars FYI.

Car manufacturers never rate their engines at wheel horsepower, its always brake horsepower. Put that engine on a engine dyno and it should make close to or more than what its rated for.
