It doesn't particularly make it better to watch. It makes the notes scroll faster so they're more spread out and easier to reach. It'd make TTFAF nice for you. >_>

since the gh3 window is so big, would u technically even need to "drum"" the red note in the GR-R-RY phrase such as at 1:20. couldn't u just use the hammer on for that since ur machine has an auto hold function?

Teh48Finn, with the auto-hold, it releases all currently held notes before playing any new ones, so i can't hold down the R and still hit a new Y. not on drums anyway, when i use my software with a MIDI keyboard input, yup, i could've done that.

TheProven, yeah, in most of the places i did just hit it on the beat and it worked, but for some of them, i kept missing when hitting on teh beat when practicing, so i made sure to stretch the timing a bit so that i was in the "window" of the note.

if youre using a dazzle try using MPEG2 to capture with and export to MP4 with a custom preset of - Resolution: Large Size/Frame Rate: Standard/Bitrate: 3600 that seems to works very well for me without any lag and i have a crappy computer

I enjoyed the rant egyokeo, you make a very good point. I think too many times they add too much ghost notes and over analyze it to make it harder. But, it's a game and you only have 5 Options to use when it comes to the notes + cords not to mention the fact that it's meant to be challenging on expert so i tend to let is slide. That note tracking that you're talking about is why many people consider the essence of Guitar Hero to have been lost with Harmonix going to Rock Band, as Harmonix was responsible for the note tracking and is generally considered to be way better at it.

Driminem, no, i can't use hammer ons at all with the way i programmed the auto-hold behavior. every new note i play automatically unholds the previous note. but that's only because i'm playing on drums, when i use my software with MIDI keyboard input, you can ho/po.
