  • I like that greenish tint to the sky.

  • Wow that was intense...

  • Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. One of my things on my to-do list is to passionately kiss in the rain, preferably a scenery such as the one in the video.

  • oh gosh I would be feaking out right now I hate storms! mostly because they produce tornadoes in arkansas

  • @taylorashwood I love storms, so much that i want to be a stormspotter when i get older, we get bad storms in the midwest... NOT TELLING U MY STATE xD

in fact, theres lightning outside my house right now

  • @RunningBarefootFun24 I envy you :C I want to live somewhere where the sun shines little, and storms inhabit the area. :)

  • my favorite part is 5:46.

  • i love to sit by the window when it rains its the only time i actually go to sleep... which sucks cause i live in florida i hate it since i was born up north til i was ten... jst five yrs passed feels like forever...

  • @crazedanimefreakudas

Wish I could swap places....Florida sounds way better than London. But yeah u are right, nothing beats drifting off to sleep with the sounds of heavy rain.

  • good video to watch while eating captain crunch

  • Everytime storms move to the Baltimore area they always weaken.

  • @chillwil2

they get even weaker when the reach Worcester County in MA....

  • good vid, i love storms! even though they can scare the hell out of you, they remind you of whos really in charge! lol

  • There's a severe thunderstorm outside my house right now, but I'm watching this anyway.

  • This was the same storm system that washed out a lake in Wisconsin Dells here in WI, and followed my class on our senior trip to New York City and ruined the first few days lol

  • that rain sounds good :)

  • im fine after the storm starts, but the fuckin clouds in the beginning is what always scares the fuck out of me

  • God, the calm before the storm. So quiet, so peaceful. Then... BAM! Hell breaks loose. Love it.

  • Wow...I was NOT expecting that! Around the middle, it didn't look much different than hurricane footage I've seen. Good video.

  • I remember when Calvert County had that tornado up in Chesapeake Beach.

  • Great camera work; an excellent weather video.

  • @katsathome hahaha

  • this storm happened on my mother's birthday and the power was knocked out for a day, isn't that a wounderfull birthday!!!??? ;)

  • I used 2 live in Maryland and when we had these storms I wuz always scared as shit and now I live in Minnesota and we hav had a few storms like that in my area so far this year and they giv u that adreanaline rush it has been an active storm year here so far

  • I noticed that green sky in the beginning. Way cool.

  • Love this video. The sound of the thunder and rain is mesmerizing. Impressive winds too. I am a weather watcher from Westminster MD. I am not sure if there was a line of storms that swept eastward from near the mountains that day. If it is the one I am thinking of, I got a pretty good storm that day too on the north end of the line. The line was spread north/south from about the MD line to the DC area.

  • wow nice neighborhood

  • 2 years later.... Still remember!!! i was at school when this happend SCARY!!!

  • tomorrow's the 2 year anniversary of this

  • This so relaxing to hear will put someone to sleep. Good job!

  • Great footage! I found it odd that at what looked to be the height of the storm, the thunder still sounded sort of "far" away, and as the rain let up toward the end, the thunder got louder.

  • Fantastic Footage Here !

  • This is my favorite storm video. At the start the suspense and energy in the air are almost palpable. I love storms, but don't want to chase. I wonder where a guy could hang out during the spring/summer and reliably see whoop ass storms all the time.

  • awesome possum:)

  • i love thunderstorms,

  • lmao @ holy shit.... thats awsome to watch. dont get that kinda shit here in Cali. so i watch storms on youtube. this is why i miss living in Canada. i miss storms like this :(

  • @lioness901 u get earthquakesss

  • I love that erie feeling, calm breeze dark clouds then occasional heavy winds, then, Ka-Boomies

  • @Aviationist11 same here!

  • Well, you said the right words, holy shit, this was awsum, it was a joy to watch this one and i gave it a 5 star and also add this on to my favs.

These are the T-storms i am talking about, holy crap, what a storm., wish we had such a storm in Holland.

Well, we had one on the 26th of may 2009, there is also a video from on my personall page so if you like, go and see.

Waiting for the comming season and big stotms.

    Pieter, Holland.

  • i seriusley remeber this one it was huge where i am i guess it was like a tornado but we dont get tornadoes in maryland

  • WOW!!!

    that looks like a hurricane!

    except with now debri.

  • I'm very much aware of the dynamics that distinguish the two. Hurricanes are tropical cyclones, whereas, thunderstorms are convective phenomena. I was merely attempting to form a analogy for those who have never experienced a real hurricane.

  • It makes you "feel" for those who live along hurricane alley. These thunderstorms, as intense as they can be, are usually short-lived. Hurricanes are much more powerful and can last for many hours.

  • Holy Crap!!!! what a storm!!!!! i wish we had them like that in the UK... awesome!!

  • this thing was freaky. i live right outside d.c. and the news and weather channel said tornado warning, i'm like "wtf? here" and of course probably overacted in the way i ran to the basement. but my parents and brother weren't at home. and i couldn't call them and the t.v. didn't work. 3 days b4 graduation. party!

  • holy shit, i wish i was at that storm

    looked awesome

  • @rezistnc lol, if this came during the summer time, and it was still hot, I would sooo run in that.

  • Thanks for shareing , I really love a good storm & that was nice .

  • amazing weather i like when you see that clouds close and move very fast and it come raning thxxxxx man

  • I remember this storm. I was in class and it got really dark, then it started pouring and the trees were bending from the wind.

  • I am missing a good storm! Here, in Portugal, we don't see it happen often...

  • Man u can hear it growling in the beginning, great stuff!

  • very, very seldom do we get storms like that here in Toronto - friggin intense!

  • I remember this!

  • I remember this.. It sucked and i am terrified of storms now :)

  • were in montgomery county is this?

  • That storm sucked we lost power and and there was another one and we didn't get our power back until 10:15 pm

  • you should take a bar of soap and shampoo and head out there Lol. Really good vid. never seen that much green in a cloud b4

  • This is one of the best storm videos on the TUBE. I hate it when the others play music or talk during the entire scene. Just let it play. Thank you.

  • This was a sweet video hell I wish it would rain like that out here in cali I love thunder and lighting storms sweet ty!!!!

  • Was there any tornadic damage in you area? At the 6:00 minute mark and on...the wind strength and mixed directions suggest a possible tornado.....

  • That is an intense green sky. Alot of instability in the Supercell....

  • whoohoo! greenage! I love the thrill!

  • that's got to be around 2 inches of rain per hour

    there...

  • holy shit, nice job, thats alot of rain, mothernature listens to you.

  • i remember this storm!!! it lasted like for 18 hours!!! i live outside of washington DC and this storm was incredible!!

  • Nothing quite like a Maryland thunderstorm!

  • Most communities nowadays have gotten rid of their warning sirens.Shame too!If something goes on that the entire area needs to be aware of quickly, they have to hope that everyone id watching TV or listening to the radio....

  • 9i live in easton we had tornado warning saying it would come right through us but, thnk God it didn't! easton is in talbot county

  • and its ironic too. I goto Northwest high school and our principle issued a tornado drill about a week or so before this storm. all 2000+ students (including me) felt she was an idiot cause what were the chances! of course when this storm popped up, tornado warnings were flying all over the place. this was one hell of a storm (like this video, my video you cant see much the rain gets so thick, videos can never describe the raw power of this storm)

  • lol, ours did too, i go to easton high

  • yeah i got footage of the storm too (see on my channel) but i only had my cell phone on me so it came out really low quality. But it was just like. and i said the exact same thing. "shit" and "oh my god" through the whole thing cause it was that shocking. its a storm i'll never forget with or without the video.

  • DUDEE i remember this storm...

my last day of school(forever!) haha and they called a tornado (drill)...idiots..lol but this was an intense freakin storm

i was in loudoun county, trees down allll overrr.. haha

  • great video i bet its the same storm i got earlyer that day i live in Sterling VA.

  • See some people just get all the luck!!!! Nice video!

  • btw how could u post this on june 4 i had no power and im sure u didnt either!

  • i live in Fairfax County Virginia and there were 3 funnels over my house but i could only document one cause by the time i got my camera they had dissipated. watch my video called superstorm- June 4, 2008

  • yea its really unusual to have tornados in nothern virginina...last time it happend was in like 2000 but that was its first time it ever happend in ashburn..(Global Warming)

  • I Was In NE Washinton D.C. I Could Swear There Was A Rotating Cloud And I Was So Scared My Mom Told Me To Run Out Side And Roll Up The Windows In The Car And I Ran And Got Too Scared So I Went Back Into The House And A Tree Fell Down On The Car

  • yeah, my brother goes to lab school in nw and said they heard tornado sirens across the river in n. va. why would she tell you to roll the windows up? that is the last thing i would worry about.

  • I was downtown when it all hit, what you have here is exactly what I saw before all hell broke loose.

  • i was so scared yesterday. in my 18 years of life here, i don't recall ever being under a tornado warning in montgomery county (bethesda). i was home alone, huddled in my dad's office behind a couch cushion with the radio, cell phone, and flashlight. I'm so glad i got to leave work early in the morning, otherwise i would have been in rockville where all the power is gone and they got the a major brunt of it.
