i used my standard xbox 360 controller and just took the battery pack out when i was supposed to "unplug" the controller, then i simply turned my guitar on and played the song in quick play. bam, easy achievement.

you're doing it too late, that's why it is taking you to the menu, this happened with me A LOT and i agree it can be quite fustrating.

the timing needs to be perfect and so you need to be patient, try counting the seconds from the last note to when the menu pops up, second time around, last note comes, count, unplug.

i recomend u use a xbox controler and when you see the last blue note on practice count

you do it once and it works with every song (except co op) until the game is restarted.

the glitch is soooooooooooooo easy to do all you have to do is pick an easy part of the song and when u finish take it out b4 th % thing shos up and go quickly to carrear and go to jordan on expert and the part u picked in training will b the only part u have 2 do

yea good video but you forgot to mention that after you use this glitch ALL THE SONGS ARE THE SAME THING!!! basically you should get every achievement and everything before doing this. it makes the song the same part of jordan and music that you did for the glitch good job including that in.

it's still possible, play without the cover on the battery slot, and pull the batteries out at the time you'd pull the wire out the xbox
