okay so he came to my town. but then frikken tornadoes popped up everywhere. and the sky was green and a tornado came down like two miles from my house. so i couldn't go.

those are the days when you hate the weather. I'd been like, counting down to go see him.

Yeah, he almost didn't do it at this show, but we convinced him to do it anyway. Artists grow and mature, and although the poem carries an important message and moral, he probably feels the delivery is somewhat childish. Anyway, most artists retire old songs in place of new ones, but that doesn't mean their fans don't still want to hear them. At least you'll always have the album version.
