Also, I know they are based out of Pompano Beach Florida. (250 odd miles away...) So I think they spend sometime here as a layover before or after an event in the area. When I was there this was right around the time of the Daytona 500 I think. (Sorry, not a nascar fan)
I do not know, but I think it is open past a certain height. After 9-11 for awhile it was a no fly zone for a few years, but at some point that was lifted. (I want to say like three years ago)
I found this so odd though, because it was like they were following me. We saw them in tomorrowland, and then the ticket and transportation center, then the parking lot at epcot and the same as you all the way up to a few minutes before illuminations.
