  • Thx..very informative...and I like your segways.

  • I have a Wilson Blx Six One TOur, and I wonder if I can string the raquet in 64 lbs?(the recomended is 50-60 lbs)

  • @ArtjomGlad 64 pounds my friend is way to much. Going to hurt your arm for sure. But then again its up to the player, its your choice really..

  • I usually play with 68-70 pounds, so I'm used to it. I'm simply wondering if this raquet can take it

  • Not to nitpick, but the 50-60 lbs is pounds of force, not pounds per square inch.

  • GREAT SELECTION OF STRING. What city is this store in??

  • @T3nnisMatt Atlanta.

  • very helpful

  • OMG THANK YOU,i was alwys wondering why...lower tension gives more power,i alwys thought higher tension more power :( now wonder

luckyily i had my wilson k pro staff 88 on low tension :)

    THANKS ALOT!!!!!!

  • Tigercrap, we are working with Dan on a video on how to choose the right racquet and he covers quite a few of the latest from the top manufacturers. It will be out next month!!

  • Great info, and I'm in the Atlanta area too! One thing I haven't heard is the tension loss in polyester strings compared to synthetic. Polyester loses a lot more tension(about 2x as much compared to a synthetic) and I've heard its recommended to go down in tension when you go from synthetic to polyester.

How long does it usually take for polyester strings to lose there tension compared to synthetic? I normally string synthetic at 54-58, but any lower, and its out of my rackets recommended range
