And contrary to what the interviewer said about evolution not being very funny, there is a shitload of completely hilarious things that could be used for humor. Actually anything could be used to be funny if you know what you're doing. Jesus. I get sick, then ramped up on Benadryl and where do I find myself? Pontificating about evolution and humor. How dull. It's too bad it's taking forever to get people to understand that evolution isn't really about where we came from. It is about what is happening with "everything that is alive (in our current understanding of what life is)" The more we understand that we have that much more of a possibility of understanding where exactly we came from and what the past means for the present and future. An evolutionary biologist doesn't need to even think about humans if that's not where the interest is.
