  • Truth is the most powerful wine!!

Qiyamat attawil means in arabic the resurection of the beginning... Some say that being drunkenness in the love of the creator is the most powerful wine!!!!!

  • But it will give you cirrhosis of the brain.

  • FUCKING SHIT this is incredible. Put on the bass and just sit back and close your eyes.

  • It sounds both like an unstoppable machine and "contemplative"... Taken separetely, each element is great but what's the point in bringing them together? Hardly-organical art concept ?

Dynamics in "Air conditionned nightmare" and "Goodbye Sober Day" (like they played it on the California CD), work much better (on me)...

  • I FEEL THE BLACK LIGHT

  • also my fav off of disco...

  • mr Bungle look at a french band who's Carnival in Coal ...

  • this song drives my dog crazy...

  • NOT ONLY YOUR DOG.

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH.

Don't listen to this on shrooms.

  • How can anything be this cool? Like it was created in a laboratory using data collected about me, just to be something I would love.

  • This song is almost too good...

  • WTF!?

  • This song wins. Always.

  • agreed!

  • I bought the CD along with California yesterday, been playing them non-stop!

  • i saw them do this song live, sounded even better than the CD

  • excellent pure and simple.

  • what i find most interesing of pattons work is that the song could end in any moment, and would still be an awesome piece.

    i.e 3:03

  • grande mr bungle...

  • kio mata kio mata tah well. kio mata kio sandem ka well.

  • I love how chaotic Mr. B's stuff sounds.

  • Reminds me of Idiot Flesh/Sleepytime Gorilla Museum; and, on a lesser degree, Throbbing Gristle.

  • I saw bungle in 98 for disco volante, very bizarre show but desert search was the highlight,

  • Dont know why, but this song reminds me to Crash bandicoot...

    love it...

  • Woah, was thinking the same thing

  • My favorite one was Warped.

  • I fucking love how people say "They sound like so many other bands." Like fucking who? Mr. Bungle was one of the most original fucking bands EVER... Maybe they cover a vast array of Genres but for those 10 seconds that they play "Funk" or some shit "Oh yeah they sound like RHCP in this part" Fuck you and Fuck RHCP. haha Sorry for the rant :)

  • Red Hot Curry Poo.

    Scorches the arsehole.

  • I saw Bungle for the California tour and the guy standing next to me with the filthy pile of metal locks was like 'Bungle are so Metal man!'

I quickly found another place to stand and I peaked during Desert Search which was played with an extended crescendo so the entire night was full of win!

  • Lucky you man, I just barely discovered Mr. Bungle this year. =/

  • they are pretty fuckin original, eh? a timeless band i will never grow tired of.

  • lol. this music is not random. I am a composer and I can see the logic they used in all songs.

  • This is one of the greatest musical pieces of all time. The complexity of the passage at 3:09 is astonishing---at the edge of randomness. Truly beautiful!

  • This is an intresting piece of music, some exciting sounds in there for sure. This song doesn't sound random to me, but some of there other stuff does.

  • I love this song, and the entire Disco Volante album. I think it is an unsung masterpiece. In the future, more intelligent beings may realize its greatness like some of us already do.:)

  • By definition, avant-garde music is not random. A random process has no goal, but Mr. Bungle clearly does have one, even if it is eccentric. In other words, Mr. Bungle subscribes to a deviant norm, whereas a random process implies the absence of all norms. Truly random music would therefore be unlikely to express any interesting musical ideas. This is not true of Mr. Bungle, who actually have to compose their music, and who enjoy both critical acclaim and a worldwide cult following.

  • "Pretty sure" is code for "I'm bullshitting the best I can, and I hope no one calls me on it". I call it. Allmusic gives Mr. Bungle's most challenging release, Disco Volante, four-and-a-half stars out of five. If critical acclaim is "mixed at best", then spill the goods.

What I really like is how you didn't contest my concept of randomness, and that tells me that you gave less thought to your original comment than you would to a turd dropping out your ass. Your opinion is worth about as much.

  • Allmusic give everything 4.5 stars. It's true check it out!

  • There may be randomness within the music. But the structure and music itself is not random.

  • a tonal music is hardly random, alot of thought goes into finding the right amount of dissonance and feeling.

  • you know all the other genres like rock hip-hop were "avant garde" at some years

the avant garde is the basic

  • heyhey = really no clue. this song is defenetialy not just random noises.

  • mos' definately

  • Patton is made out of win.

  • this song is pretty sweet although some of the stuff on this album I find hard to listen to, gotta love bungle though

  • already bought the album in '96 :)

  • The total shit is you pall MIKE PATTON RULE THE UNIVERCE STUPID

  • LONG LIVE MR.BUNGLE!!! saludos desde Argentina!

  • yeah i call it music it's alot better than crap out now , long live mike Patton

  • is that an opinion?

  • what total stupidity. You call that an educated opinion? No.

  • YES, its completely not music.

Thats why they were on Warner Bros.

    Fuckin idoit

  • not only is this music... it's the greatest music.

  • The intensity of this piece is stunning!

  • its like he made it through the maze, but instead of getting a treat at the end he chose eletric shock therapy!

  • I laughed my ass off at this song but it's fucking awesome. XD

  • i allready have it

  • effing amazing
