Ive been looking everywhere, but to no avail.... is there a similar system for Macs? I've been really interested in the "Project Jarvis" program, but it doesn't look like he's go gin to be coming out with that anytime soon :( HELP! lol

Interesting to note, it's no longer quite as impractical anymore to use a voice command while playing sound. The XBox 360 hast this feature. It cancels the noise it knows it's making.

most Macs have most of these voice commands naively....

What other interfaces can you control the system with besides a computer? Do you install microphones throughout a house. What if you accidentally say "computer" and dont want the computer to do anything? Does it control A/V components? Can you control it from a wall mount touch screen?

After spending the last 2 1/2 hours of viewing smart home programs I have to say this is the best by far. My favorite feature would have to be the voice operated computer control. Can you only activiate the computer in that room or can you be in any part of the house with the voice being played over speakers in that room. Have you thought about making in also available while outside the home? I would love to have this program in my house.......

But in all seriousness: I love the concept and the ideas behind the system presented, but voice commands still have A LOT of development ahead and integrated command centers should above all make actions faster and easier. Atm they are only neat, but take a lot of tweaking and are not reliable. Hope to see some improvement in the future, though I think Voice Activation is not the way to go.

@theBritzed well to tell you the truth everything in your house was made by a geek,from your tv to your car and your cell phone.also it wuld be better to control everything in your house by voice than always going to a light switch or the remote exspecially if your handicap.so stuff like this is practical for every home in the world.

Why dont you have it just play a little noise instead of saying things like "at your service". When your in a hurry you wont have to wait, and it could get annoying after a while.
