1) I'm guessing that much of this film is "colorized" rather than (original) color. Generally, the real color footage is grainy with strong colors. Colorized ends up having lots of pastel-like colors.
2) Catalina's are now "bombers"??? They're recon!

B17s stationed on Midway then were early model versions with no rear gunner position.

@mrgoodvibrations actually no. The B-17s flown by USAAF during the battle of Midway were E models with the tail turret and revised ventral position. Interestingly many of the planes filmed at Midway appear to have a remote controlled Bendix ventral turret rather than the later Sperry ball.

Yay first comment! world war 2 was horrible i think it was worse than modern war because there is now medical help and no heartless Japs or Nazis. Its very sad when i see my allies die in CoD World at War but nothing beats the real thing im so glad there wont be a draft with Obama president.

COD; I can't get the sniper in the hardest level.
