Beside the Korean people I love the North American people. I don't really care for the India country or the people and their rituals, but I love NA indians... and their love for nature and God's creation...
Its nice to see the Cherokee culture mixed in with modern culture even if its just by music. thank you to those of you who have not forgotten us as a people and culture.
Amazingly beautiful; Native Americans are the only people to have truly loved and respected our Earth. Now I want to go watch The Last of the Mohicans, and Dances With Wolves.
i wish i could live in the time of my ancestors instead of this new future of technology. wat ever happened to taking care of our mother. but instead we step on her like she doesn't exist. we need to turn our pitiful lives around and take care of our planet and stop hating so much
This brings me back to my American Indian Roots and makes me feel safe and secure knowing that I will always be protected by my family that has gone beyond to the other world.
Cherokee culture it is so awsome and tintreating. i love it.! cherokee is a part of my caulture. i love the music .. u dd a great job with this video..i love the pics. :)
"Only when the last fish has been caught. Only when the last tree has been felled. Only when the last river has been poisoned will man realise that money cannot be eaten" A wise man.
OOHLALAAAS: True. But I'm reminded of a HILARIOUS newspaper comic strip called "Tumbleweeds" about the interface of cowboys with "indians" in the old west. One Indian is complaining about being called Indian and the other says, "Be thankful 'ol Chris wasn't looking for Turkey."
This isn't exactly native american music. Enigma has a mish--mash of nationalities to their music. He meant for it to be aethetically pleasing to the ear, hence the category "trance". It's great for mellowing out and concentrating, similar to r&b or smooth jazz. If you listen, you hear different of qualities to the sound.
#1@Emeraldsunsets: Well, there are contemporary Native American Indians who compose and write music today using all kinds of instruments other than, as well as including, Kokopelli's flute.
So that brings up the question, "Just what IS TRUE Native American music?" Has ANYONE, including all Native American Indians today, heard Pre Columbian Indian music? No. When one of our contemporary First Peoples write and compose today they're using what's been passed down in their traditions.
#2@Emeraldsunset:That's all they have. And that's what makes it valid and true. Never mind all the electronics and instruments of today. They shared ideas and tools before Columbus and if they had magically been provided with those things in 1200 AD they would have immediately
embraced them and used them to their full advantage. (Now THAT would be a trip!). True American Indian music is whatever is created by them from their hearts and a past they can only yearn for.
I love this, Im much closer to my spiritual side and Im half Cherokee as well. I feel 2 connections with my spirit one is Native Indian and the other is Egyptian. Im currently living 2 sides of my spiritual sides of my life, it's like it's more if a time thing one was here first and the other came later now I live here in America tied to spirits, it seems they are the same and one was here before, came back and pass on again and here I am. That's one way of being spiritual connected.
Dude like, doesn't it weird you out that there's like Germans or Austrians or Luxembourgians or something that are like strangely appreciative of Native American music, it's like they don't want us to forget we slaughtered the Indians man, they are like pissed about that and stuff so they won't appreciate like uh, uh, music that's like Aborigine or Polynesian or Subsaharan Africa stuff you know? Don't be a tool.

My limbs are the trees.
I am the rock, i´m the dephts of the water.
I´m not here to rule the nature or to utilize it.
I am myself nature....
