  • I reaaaaaaaaeeeeeeeeeeaaly love it when my syickers are pealing n stuff but only on blsck cube

  • i go with reg stickers on jap cilor shceme cause i luv the way nakaji1084 solves his cube with jap color scheme

  • All Black cubes: regular color scheme BOY or RWB etc. A light blue doesn't hurt.

Big white cubes: a white side. I don't recognize black that fast. Looks cooler.

I like the half bright set also. the most bothersome thing for me are dark blues though. Worn stickers don't bother me as much as long as half of the surface area of the piece is the sticker. Once it has past then i change them. (takes a long time.) And yeppers.

  • half bright set but black stickers on the yellow side with bright blue

  • cubesmith half bright and bright blue

  • v cube colors with a normal blue. or cubesmith half bright

  • i like to replace orange with purple no tiles stickers that a low quality

  • standard color scheme but as long as i do cross on white, i won't mess up

  • I like them chiped . I am going to try out the Cubesmith Half-Bright Stickers.

  • RIP, 5AC.

  • cubesmith bright set with red instead of fluorescent pink

  • I prefer the old color scheme. White opposite blue (easy distinction), yellow opposite green (same as before), and red opposite orange.

  • i like white cubes with the regular white cube color scheme, black opposite of dark yellow, red opposite of orange, and so on and so forth...

  • I like the half Bright cubesmith set on a black 3x3 as i find it a lot easier when the blue and red are dark and the orange, green and yellow are bright :D

  • in 5th grade, everyone had me solve their cubes. a lot of them are crappy key chain cubes and i got very used to solving any color scheme

  • I like the regular colors except bright orange and bright green instead of normal orange and green

  • I use the BOY color scheme.

On black cubes, I use white.

    On white cubes, whatever.

  • i like everything yellow on a yellow cube......love it

  • i dont care with the color scheme. for me it can be like, yellow will be black, or white replased with pink, or like a 2x2 color scheme or what ever, as long as no shades loke like another one. and sorry for my english. im icelandic.

  • I like black..............on black cubes

  • well i only have reg. colors but i REALLY want to get flouresent (idk how to spell) but with a dark red.... my alpha came with a weird type of dark red like a purplish red...

  • I like normal colorskin.

  • just like MeMyselfandPi i just need white and yellow oppsite and i can solve it

  • Right now I'm using the half bright set from cubesmith. But I also put a regular yellow and a bright blue.

  • My favorite color scheme is allllll yellow because it helps to make it easier to solve for me lol

  • japanese color scheme is what i use

cause im used to it on my keychain cube i just use it all the time

  • A strange thing I do: I've just started really getting a puzzle collection, but whenever I have more than one of the same kind of puzzle, the main one I use for speedsolving is always white. Partially because I like white cubes and partially because whenever something comes out in white and black, the white is almost always in stock and the black like never is.

  • i like regular but sometimes i like light blue and lime green

  • I have white stickers on my white cubes because I'm used to it, but I almost want to get a white cube with black stickers instead of white because it just plain looks better. Maybe on that maru 4x4 I'll be ordering soon.

  • white opposite bright yellow

    light blue opposite light green

    bright red opposite bright orange

  • i like your color scheme, it has made me get sub-30! :D

  • I use the Odd-zon (or whatever) color scheme because when I started cubing, the old cube that I learned used that color scheme. Opposite white is blue, yellow across from green, and red across from orange and white red green in a clockwise position. I'm trying to get used to both so I can be fast at any cube.

  • i like the half-bright stickers =D

  • i like the 3x3 tiles light set (black cube) but they give you purple insted of yellow and pink insed of red so same as you

(im kinda color blind so purple and blue on the light set are the same :( )

  • Yay when you recorded this tomorrows my birthday!!

any way for the solving point of view the regular color scheme is awesome

but for the visual point of view (WTF?) i like the regular color scheme except with black stikers instead of white on a white cube :P

  • i like bright stickers with a chrome side instead of white bright blue side and purple instead of red

  • i use light blue opposite regular green, dark purple opposite fuschia and yellow opposite black on a white plastic f II cube. Hope this helps ur poll :D

  • replace white with black on a white cube

  • Cubesmith light textured tiled set but with black tiles for a white cube clockwise corner - Red-Black(White)-Blue with purple replacing yellow and pink replacing red

  • flourescents with light green and light blue.

  • i like the white plastic with black instead of white

  • I like silver instead of white, but I haven't used it in a while

  • white edison cube w/ japanese colour scheme (fluorescent stickers W/ bright blue)

  • Would you please make a rundown of your poll? I really would like to know what people said and am sure, you made a little statistic about it. Thanks in advance.

  • i like the normal color scheme but for white i prefer silver/mirror

  • white opposite blue, yellow opposite green, orange opposite red. Japanese colour scheme

  • I like the regular color scheme but I kind of like the florescent orange and dark blue.

  • I love the normal color scheme, but I really love white cubes with black faces. (No, it's not blackface; that's different. ¬.¬) My blues on black cubes I like to be dark. But I like the light blue on white cubes (a la V-Cube). I do admit that the black V-Cube 7 is downright sexy.

The megaminx...I have no idea. I like the QJ color scheme because that's what I have. I haven't memorized it or anything. I get the greens mixed up on occasion, but other than that I'm fine with it.

  • no way, u use the same color scheme i use

    (bright set w/ light blue)

on white cubes, i use black stickers unstead of white when i can because i'm used to it from my v cube 7

  • Currently using Eastern color scheme (white opposite blue), and I'm really loving it. I'm hoping to get some new Cubesmith stickers soon, maybe using brighter colors to combat the see-throughness and discoloration of a black cube.

  • normal colour FTW

  • i like aqua instead of normal blue and purple instead of green and all the rest fluorescent

  • I prefer:

On Black cubes: White opposite black (replacing yellow)

On white cubes: Black (replacing white) opposite yellow

  • Black opposite white, Red opposite pink, Light Blue opposite fluorescent Green. At least that is my dream cube.... I can't wait, as I am ordering all the parts for a custom cube soon..

  • because i like ornge on a eastsheen but i need to make a order to cubesmith

  • i like the normal color scheme. as lo ng as white is opposite yellow green-blue red-orange. if its incorrect but at least that im good.

  • I replace white with black, and blue with light blue. because i like black better than white, and i can see light blue better.

  • 00:17 LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!

  • so far ive only cubed with the standard color scheme. but i ordered the chrome and florsent color sets for my 2x2. i probably wouldnt like to switch two colors like some ppl do b/c im used to the regular color scheme.

  • As a new cuber I like the standard color pattern. When I can afford to I will be ordering a new cube and will be using Cubesmith tiles on it; white, light blue, light orange, red, yellow, green.

  • I like regular color scheme on big cubes and 2x2.

on 3x3, I like silver instead of white/black, cube4you light blue, fluorescent orange and yellow, regular red, and light green/ regular green.

  • I like the regular color scheme. That is important for me because on the 4x4 and 6x6, I can pair up the centers correctly. That is important for speedcubing. I like partly damaged stickers, or perfect stickers. My 4x4 peeled a little, and stayed that way. I don't change color schemes.

  • i like the standard old boring color scheme because im used to it. hope everyone finds this comment interesting.

    lol

  • @KrYp7on1t3 +1 for sarcasm.

  • Comment removed

  • i like black in place of blue.

  • i hate white on white cubes, other than that i just use the regular rubiks color shceme

  • i like to replace yellow with black on my bigger cubes because when im edge pairing its easier to see

  • regular color scheme...

  • Fluorescent with light blue, normal red and white on white cubes. I like it and don't know. On 2x2 I use white, normal yellow, light blue, regular green, normal red, and purple/pink. I never use black stickers, white is only what i can use. Not that im racist cause i use black 2x2s (my fav event).

my birthday is the 20 too!

  • generally a standard color scheme. tho on my 5x5 i put

    gold opposite silver,

    chrome red opposite fuscia

    chrome blue opposite aqua.

This has three very shiny colors opposite the duller colors. It looks kickass in the checkboard position.

But....This is mostly because i have no interest in speed solving my 5x. if i did, it would be standard.

  • I don't care what color scheme is on my cube. Just as long as the colors are dark. I like dark colors

  • I use white on white cubes.

I use the standard color scheme.

    I like fluorescent orange.

I prefer orange to pink, so I have orange on my EastSheen.

    I prefer "strong" colors.

    Cubesmith tiles are awesome ;)

  • Started with normal colorset tried others and could not recognize as well.

  • I use the japanese color scheme, because it looks cooler, and I had better recognition with it from the get go :) I don't like cubesmith's red color, so I use Tribox's bright red. If you look at the stickers that Yumu uses, mine are those colors ( flourescent). I also prefer white on white cubes as well :) On my 7x7cubes, though, I use all flourescent, except red is standard red, and the blue is Tribox light blue, or the standard V-cube blue :) Cheers.

  • Since I learned the 4x4 middle alignment step as the normal color scheme (blue, mustard, blood ftw!) i always use the normal so i don't have to change

  • standard color scheme but thats because i haven't used anything that different

  • Nice Yu-Gi-Oh calender in the background..... :|

  • The color scheme I'd like is the traditional Rubik's colors, but I'd like to have silver instead of white and Black instead of yellow. No particular reason, just what I like.

  • mine is the normal colour scheme exept red and orange were switched and they are lego tiles

  • Standard color scheme and black in white cube and white in black cube.I orderd 4 sets of flourentent Cubesmith and i love them.

  • i Dont really care.

    But Oldschool Stickers are pr0!

  • since i got my first cube as a diy i didnt know about color scheme so i use green blu white and red opposite white orange opposite green and yellow opposite blue with normal colors from the cubesmith set xD pretty fucked up

  • I use cubesmith tiles on my 3x3. I've switched yellow for black, and purple for orange. Otherwise its just the usual color scheme

  • my cube is white so i have black stickers and the regular Color Scheme :)

  • i usually dont have a cube long enough to change it. but regular

  • I like the normal Cubesmith sticker sets. Florescent stickers are too bright for me.

I also like white sides on white cubes.

  • Standard color scheme with either black, white or silver. :)

  • especially for black big ones?

    lolz

  • I use the American color scheme, but on white cubes i use a white side and black just messes me up.

  • i prefer the regular sceme, bet replace black on white cubes with white, white cubes are better also

  • i like black on the whight cubes

  • studio set from cubesmith. then change the white face to black. since im using white cubes. =]

    japanese scheme :)

  • blue oppisite white

    orange opposite yellow

    red oppisite green

  • standard= cubes alot of floresant and shiney and no dull for my mods

  • Pause at 1:58

  • bright colors

    pink florescent

    orange florescent

    blue florescent

    green florescent

    white

    yellow florescent

    Ballin...bye

  • ramdom stuffffffffff

    over 9000 blah

  • i like the normal color scheme but i also like my chrome set from cubesmith then i got another cube and changed the colors so i had the old solor scheme whiite/ yellow are next to eachother not across and smae with red/ orange and blue/green not a big fan of grey scale

  • i like black cubes with STANDARD COLOR SCHEME except i take off the RED stickers so that i have a BLACK side

  • all 3 things is about his penis

  • lite blue light green normal red yellow white and orange.........good for diffenciton of colors

  • i prefer the regular colour scheme (white opposite yellow, green opposite blue and red opposite orange) but with dark colours. my edison has dark colours and i feel that my recognition is better with those stickers.

  • Depending on lighting...?

  • its just a preference. when i got the cube, i adapted to the dark colours and now thats how i like my cubes.

  • i like flouresant color scheme

  • Thank you for telling me that =)

  • what is 1980's studio clour scheme?

is it the japanese colour scheme?

if so, what is the japanese colour scheme?

  • normal

  • Standard American color scheme.

  • some ppl are to picky I use the standard color scheme orange opposite red green opposite blue white opposite yellow and green yellow orange clockwise but i do use a standard cubesmith bright set with the yellow green and orange flourescent the red white and blue are still the same brightness i like this cause all of the colors are rediculously easy to distinguish

  • I like any scheme as long as it is correct (american or foereign (british/japanese))

  • the british is the same as the "American" colour scheme.Who says its american the japanese one is the original and there just keeping it that way and its actually the hungarian because thats where Erno Rubik comes from.

  • i use japanese colour scheme with yellow front white top. i prefer cubesmith bright with light blue:)

  • I don't mind when the stickers chip off, but I dislike when the edges start a very slow process of pealing off (seems to happen most with my eastsheens). I now prefer black cubes with the standard color scheme.

I went through a little phase where I really liked the white cubes because I thought they looked really cool, but I'm getting over that. I also generally like to leave the white side unstickered, example my golden cube4you cube, what would be the white side is just shiny gold paint.

  • I use the eastsheen set on my eastsheen 2x2x2.

The cubesmith bright set with light blue on my 3x3x3.

Haven'y change them on my QJ tiled 4x4x4.

Cubesmith regular set on my 5x5x5.

    V-cube set on my 6x6x6.

    Cubesmith tiles on my 7x7x7

  • I use the normal color scheme.

Quick question, how did you guy get to keep the old channel layouts?

  • I use regular cubesmith white cube color scheme but since i'm a little color blind, i use light blue to make the difference between black and blue much greater.

  • im fine with any color scheme as long as the blue and green colors are opposite

  • Regular colorscheme... I have all my cubes tiled with smooth tiles from cubesmith. I use black cubes. WHite doesn't work for me, I do have 2 white type A's, one with a black side and one with a white side. Black on a whte cube doesn't work at all for me so on a white cube I prefer a white side.

  • I use normal color scheme

Cos I already used to it I guess

    It helps alot for F2L

I use bright sets from cubesmith sometimes too

    _WhiteLynx_

  • standard

  • I'm using the Standard Color Scheme, But insteed of white I use Black and I'm using CubeSmith Smooth Tiles:

    F=Red

    U=Black

    R=Blue

    L=Green

    B=Orange

    D=Yellow

Why I use this is beacuse I'ts the most common Color Scheme on white cubes^^

  • standard scheme, but different

    top: white

    left:orange

    right: red

    bottom: yellow

    front: blue

    back: green

its different, trust me. i can cube with anything like that or similar

  • all the cubes i stickered by myself have this color scheme:

    blue opposite green,

    red opposite black,

    white opposite yellow

i only resticker my cubes if the stickeres are really fucked up...

  • I like it with normal colouring(white opposite yellow, green opposite blue, red opposite orange) but I don't have any preference of brightness etc. of the colours.

  • i prefer normal color scheme... but i prefer the V-cube Blue stickers

  • Standard scheme, I can't cube with anything different. ie Normal scheme average= 23 seconds Anything else average= 45 seconds

I am the anti color neutral! lol

  • I like the American colour sceme with the colours White, Red and Blue.

    No I'm not American.

  • i like normal color scheme, and preferably cubesmith tiles couse normal stickers are a bit too shiny =)

  • american, cubesmith black cube bright set, flourescent green, orange, and yellow.

  • normal color scheme with fluorescent colors, with black replacing yellow, because it helps me with tracking f2l pieces.

  • do not care

  • im color neutral so i dont give a crab

  • flouresent orange and green with regular yellow and oviously red witha light blue. And white on black and white cubes

  • I like the normal color scheme on a black cube with white as stickers instead of black, but I really don't care.

  • well for me its the standard scheme. but a white cube has always white on the "white side". no black ;)

  • Japanese on a white cube with black stickers, not white.

  • Original, with Bright blue, and replacing orange with black.

  • I love the default colors but instead of yellow on a black cube, black because i like the way the black stands out

  • I usually prefer white cubes with the normal color white =black though, in the Japanese (old school Rubik's) color scheme. for some reason I find extremely easier to do PLL. Other than the cube being white, and black stickers for the white stickers, I like the traditional colors. For my V6 and V7, they have the fluorescent ones (mistake, too lazy to change them0 but i have to say finding yellow/orange edges are a snap. That is my $.02

  • all brightset with orange-white blue-yellow green-red

  • i dont care to much about stickers except when it looks like my 4x4 eastsheen

  • my main speed cube is a white diy.

so i like dark colours exept for blue

    blue must be light

  • I like the regular color scheme with ugly stickers. Like Dakota's cubes. They look so sexy. =)

  • I use normal but yellow was removed revealing black plastic. Now when I use a cube with yellow I get confuned..

I have white cubes in the mail from various sites, and all of them will have black stickers (:

  • Bright blue and bright orange are good on cubes, because they stand out a lot more. Florescent green and yellow works well as well. I also like the cubesmtih logo on white cubes!

  • I prefer the Cubesmith tile colour scheme.

I like those colours but I'm not too bothered about the shades, just so long as they're easily distinguishable.

Hate the Eastsheen colour scheme though.

  • Bright Blue is really nice I use that on all my cubes. Bright Blue with bright sets FTW

  • i like the normal color scheme.

but on a white cube, i like black instead of white.

  • I always go the normal color scheme on a black cube. I like the standard colors. I also get tiles whenever possible.

Oh & I added in that annotation for your ;)

  • i use all white stickers...on every side....its always solved

  • i use regular color scheme, but either white or yellow side can be replaced with black

  • i cant do white cubes with white stickers my mind doesnt recognize them, it keeps thinking the sticker is missing and it tries to figure out which color it is, i prefer black cube with normal white red and yellow, flourescent orange and green so red/orange are more easily recognized apart as well as green/blue, but light blue cause normal blue is so dark its close to black, giving me the same effect as the white cube with white stickers

  • i like a standard set with flourescent yellow and light blue

  • which ever one i solve the fastest. lol

  • I like japanese color shceme just cuz i think it looks better, i use bright yellow and bright orange, light blue and light green, white and red. i do this so i know that the white and red are the normal colors, and i know that any bright stickers are yellow and orange, and the light colors are blue and green.

  • YEAH JAPANESE COLOR SCHEME

  • I don't care what stickers I use. I like it when the stickers are peeling and chipping because it gives it an older look, and peeling stickers feel cool.

  • defiantly cubesmith brightset on black cubes for me! with regular scheme

  • 0:16 lmao...

  • For me the most important thing is consistency, I have to have all my cubes with the same colour arrangement. For some reason when I bought my 2x2, it came with the blue and yellow sides swapped! Grrr.

I use the standard colour pattern white/yellow, red/orange, blue/green all on black cubes. I am thinking about buying my gal a white cube with shades of pink for the different sides for xmas though!

You didn't mention tiles at all! My 4x4 has tiles and I kinda like it. :)

  • black cube: standard sticker set

reason: because my first cube had this color scheme, and I learned fridrich with this cube, so I'm used to this color scheme.

white cube: same thing, but with black instead of white on the white side.

  • i usually use standard colours. however. if some stickers start to peel off on one side(like consistantly) then i just pull them all off. and then Ihave a blackside. which i keep that way:P till i need to be replace more.

  • I like black cubes with a standard Cube Smith color scheme replacing orange with purple, green with florescent green and blue with light blue.

  • I like white on any color cube. Normal color scheme

  • i like white cubes but i can solve nomatter what colors... if the opposite is known to me... i am going to make my white cube white to black, normal dark green, the hot blue from c4u, normal yellow, purple as orange, and normal dark red... with and cubesmith logos on red and yellow sides.. and maybe a gray logo on the black side... not sure.. or a black 5x5 vcube logo... i also want to make a white cube with qj 4x4 tiles...

  • I like to use the normal colors. It is what I first learned and I know those colors good so why change them.

  • bright set with pink instead of blue

  • i use a rubik's studio set from cubesmith plus a florescent green and bright blue. except for big cubes, then i just use a florescent set. also, i liked chipped stickers.

  • regular cus im used to it ....but black on white cubes instead of white

  • AHHHH! I paused exactly at 1:16 and you look like a paedophile. It's freaky! Normal colour scheme, but I'm used to my Edison so i like dark colours on the cube.

  • Normal with light blue :)

  • studio cube stickers from cubesmith on all cubes
