Haha, i beat her at lvl 3 without any items standard difficulty with my altmer healer. I just healed while running to the imperial city! Umbra cannot take 8+ guards. :-)

hey guys if someone can help me it would be appreciated. I ended up getting chased by umbra to the imperial city, and then i got arrested. When I returned to Vindaesel she is no longer there. Does anyone know if she returns after a period of time? Or maybe does she go and wonder in a specific spot? if anyone can help it would be great!

@USMCrecon55 Hey there, I've had a read on the net and the only things I could find were : If you are using the pc version try the command ( player.moveto 00026B2A ) If you are on 360 you can either wait at Vindasel or if you haven't done the actual quest for her e.g you went there before starting the quest, maybe you can get a marker for her posistion. That's about all I could find, I hope it helps!

i know how to get 2 of the umbra sword i just figured it out and should have noticed how it was done before but enough talking about that all you have to do is have the skul of coruption then kill the corrupted umbra she will drop her sword then kill umbra and now you have 2 or if you can break the corrupt clones umbra sword it worked with the sword of the crusader and the fork of hornipalation

This game is the easiest as a sneaky character.. You can clear any cave with a bow + sneak combo without being noticed.. And when you have high enough sneak you can just go around sneaking and hitting people with your sword and nobody will notice you.. :D

The best way to kill her is to use the Apotheosis staff. You can buy it at rindir's staffs at the IC market district. It effects are 33 pts of fire, frost and shock. I killed her with 2 hits when i was level 8

Its possible to beat her at any level with the right tools, even at level 1. If you wanna go toe to toe with her however your gonna need to wait until youre a higher level. Youll need Goldbrand or shadowrend for that. A bow at that level won't be able to defeat her, Im guessing its not a custom bow but a found or bought one? If so then no. She regenerates health way too fast even if you spam her with arrows. That is unless like I said it's a custom bow with some crazy enchantment on it.

Another way to kill umbra if you are having trouble, you can get the strong invisibility potion and level up your conjoration skills to 100 and sumon a deadra lord then turn invisible and let your slave do the work....

u could do that but an easier way is to get 50 illusion buy chamelion then enchant any 5 items with grand souls with chamelion then just attack her with the items equipped then just attack her with anything and she cant do anything plus its handy for theives guild and dark brotherhood

you'll be "teleported" to her, probably she'll start to kill you so be ready.

try the Ebony Blade, its a black katana given to you by a daedra after making the people of a village to kill eachother, the blade is awesome :P and has a cool green ayra, i dont remember the effect, 1 was absorb life and i dont remember the second

when you do the quest to get the sword umbra. take the dude the sword for the helm then either kill him, paralyize, or pickpocket him and take the sword. presto now youve finished the quest and have 2 powerful items. :) PS i havent tryed this on the console versions tho. :( (Ps3 Tag SoupCoolers25)
