ok incubus has been one of my favorite bands for about 5 years if not my #1 favorite. one of the things i love the most about them is how they sound live. its incredible. there style has changed since the begining years and i like that stuff better but i love all there stuff and i own every album they have.
Listen to the lyrics and how well the band plays together.... those two things alone put these guys at el numero uno in my book... not because he looks good... our world is getting way too superficial. Dirk brought nothing to the table. Sometimes he didn't show at practices. He didn't even write a lot of his bass lines. Mike did. Overall, he was just too lazy for the guys, and they got tired of it. So he was booted.
seriously give the bssist a break he's an amazing techinal player, just becasue he wasn't there during the forming of the band doesn't mean it's his fault that they changed their sound they were evolving their sound long before he came on board.
