are those amish hair pins you are using? i keep ordering them online, do you know if there are any common retailers that sell them?
PS I used to get such headaches trying to put up all my hair, and by trying many of your tutorials i find that i can keep my hair up all day without one of those "pony tail head aches" thank you so much :)
Yes, those are Amish hair pins. Sadly, I'm not aware of any retail shop which carries them. If you happen to live within driving distance of a Mennonite or Amish community you could find them in their general stores, but otherwise, you'll probably have to stick with ordering.
For me, the key to avoiding head aches is making sure the weight is spread out, which using Amish hair pins does!
Hey - this is a great video. I have sort of longish hair, but it's thick just like yours. I have to go buy a few hair sticks and some bobby pins and I'm going to try this style out.
Don't bother with people pestering you for hiding your face. I love that I can get instructions from people like you - I don't have to see your face to see how to work the styles. I hope you keep them coming!
Hey...it was just a suggestion. Your "Double 3 Strand Braid videos" show all your hair in its full glory (Which By the way looks Gorgeous) & those vidoes only gave the idea.
u haven't made a video in so long. :(

What kind of hairsticks do you use? My plastic ones have all broken but one =(
eurasianchica 2 years ago
I mostly use wooden ones though I have a steel one my brother made and two silver ones my Mom picked up for me.

I really like the hairstick you used in this video- where did you get it? And so is the hair!
herbgurl82 2 years ago
I bought it from a local craft fair. I don't have contact info for the dealer.

As you bun your hair, pray. Consider your buns works of beauty offered to God in thanksgiving for blessing you with such gorgeous hair.

Thank you. As to the harp, I most unfortunately can not play it.
