A momentous day for science and the world. These champions will be influential in all our daily lives through not only their specialisations but also their diligence and bravery in confronting untenable dogma and obscurantism. These men (and more as yet unseen)are the 21st century heroes of Science and Philosophy and, finally, are being recognised as such. I look forward to all episodes of this magnificent ceremony as a filmic record of their leadership in scientific and philosophical truth.
