I wish my birman cat Tabitha is that calm when I give her a bath. When I think the only time she is calm is when she is sleeping. Most of the time she is running around the house taking my all things left and right or talking all the time.

Okay.. Listen, I bathe my cat too, as cat just like yours. But hey, girl, to take care of the fur you need to use a cat shampoo, and before putting it into the fur, soak it with luke warm water for a long time, cause these cats have this and long hair, it takes time to soak it! ... Then wash carefully and rinse with water.. then use a cat balsam...

Hahaha, your Birman is really cooperative. For me to bathe mine, my brother has to help me wearing a thick sweater and he ends up getting all wet since the cat refuses to let go of off him while I bathe her.

i like that you're gentle with your sacred birman cat when you're bathing him and that's why he/she doesn't protest. i have two birman cats myself and they don't enjoy a bath..

I had a Birman-mix I named Dagger. He was huge lol. But since he was mixed he had all the same color markings as the cat in this video but had short hair.  Kind of looked like this kitty did when wet! So cute!!

Birmans are just very docile. They are VERY friendly cats. I have one, but I can't imagine that he would be as relaxed as the cat in the video. He was always very active (for a birman), ever since he was a kitten.

My birman boy has always preferred showers with me. I don't realize he is in there until I feel a rough tongue licking my ankles. Then he gets soaked and jumps out. It happens quite often. Once I think he caught a cold.
