man i know what ur saying.lil W soldier etc. saw it easy to make money without puttin effort or ceativity in music (hip hop) yeah back in the days it was good cause it wasnt about money but skills, beats and lyrics not to mention GOOD MUSIC period. Once it became marketable it changed. nas could do a song that is hip pop but he will still come back to doing good shit.unlike others. Why do you think alot of artist are going indy? like Mos def to name a few.
Wow, way to be fucking antisemitic. There are plenty of black cats who fucked he game up. P Diddy in my eyes is largely responsible for selling out Hip Hop in the late 90s. Not to mention Master P and Cash Money, that shit's whack as fuck. For your info, KRS was very popular back in his day. JMT choses to be underground. Nas IS mainstream. Soldier Boy is popular because of the Crunk explosion. Lil John's responsible for that. If you truly think the Jews are killing Hip Hop, that's pathetic.
Why couldn't a version (clean or dirty) of this song appear on Mark Ecko's Getting Up video game back in the day? It seems very applicable and matching to the game's theme.
