  • You're the Puroresu teacher man.

    Very good videos ;)

  • Sir what cam do you use?

  • @austinariesmark Sony Cyber-shot dsc-w220 :)

  • u sound like wade barrett lol

  • whered u get that shirt? cool

  • @y2jbrock ASOS.com ;)

  • Ya, ya I can't help it that the site is down...I hoping it is back up ASAP as well, but maybe this break is need so that I jump back into this and get stuff done that needs to be done, you know.

Anyways, I myself lack a lot of knowledge on Joshi, but as for eveything else you landed them pretty much down to a T, so hopefully it clears up a few issues for some.

  • @PuroresuSpirit :) For those wondering, it's basically godaddy's fault that the site is down. Charles is a superhuman at running the site's content but server issues fall beyond his control ;)

I'll try and reclaim my half-written article and whack it up on my personal website temporarily to get the video out soon.

  • Thank you very much for answering my questions.

  • I pretty much agree with what you said about Joshi.

But when it comes to recent promotions, I think that Ice Ribbon is about to create its own style of Owarai.

  • @Electronic91Videos Yeh I've heard a bit about that, but in all honesty most of my joshiresu knowledge begins at 1987 and ends in 1999! I see some of the recommended matches each year, but I don't really understand the modern scene in any real detail.

  • Also, your hand writing is too neat. I noticed this when I got the battlarts DVD.

  • @dinosauravenger1989 lol i think that might be my fav insult of the week

  • Fuck Vegeta! He can suck a cock! He's just bitter because he is a cunt!

Also, why do you sound like a bogan in this video? Do you have a cold?

  • @dinosauravenger1989 For the vegeta part I was trying to sound like I came from Melbourne... so yeh. Bogan. I remember you saying you didnt like Vegeta actually. I reckon he's a champ. Trains like a nut.

  • @IchibanPuroresu

If you were trying to sound like you came from Melbourne, you failed. But I meant, the whole video you sound more bogan then usual.

Vegeta sucks because of his obsession with training. He had every advantage over Goku, genetics, training, experience, etc, but Goku always surpassed him, because he lacked one thing Goku had, and that was heart. Or something like that. He sucks.

  • @dinosauravenger1989 It's probably a combination of a slight head cold and me using the shitty mic in the camera. that's the only non-supernatural explanation I can give.

Heart my dick. Goku had BABYFACE BOOKING FAVOURITISM. I love Goku though. And Gohan (cell saga). But I love Sabbat's voice so much.

    1. Cell

    2. Vegeta

    3. Gohan

    4. Goku

    5. Picollo

my favourite 5 dbz dudes. goku is the obvious original series DB no#1. hang on, why am I talking about dragon ball? who cares. dbz pwns.

  • do you go to australian indies?

  • @madmanco17 No. Living in London makes it hard lol. ;)

  • Is this the great Ichiban's return vid to youtube?! I think it is..... hell yeah!

  • Incredibly well said. You gotta get caught up. referencing invisible videos is pretty crazy, the kind of thing that gets you a dozen or so Kawada kicks in the temple

  • @DoubleCrossKing Thanks... I'm gonna claim that it's not my fault this time lol!

  • Have fallen in love with puro over the last five years and out of love with american wrestling. Tried my hardest to get into ROH but dont see what everyone is raving about. The japanese have just got it down with match quality. Great vid.

  • GREAT VID AS ALWAYS the end was AMAZING LOL Well worth the wait

  • Awesome video. Glad you made this response. Cant wait to see the other video you are mentioning

  • As I understand King's Road, it was Baba's idea that everything in wrestling should have a logical progression from small to HUGE, and included both the match style and the booking of feuds.

  • @KingAndy1992 Your understanding is basically correct ;) Continual aggrandising was what it was all about. That's why it had to end at some point. A lot of people think it went on years too long - becoming absurd and dangerous for the workers. But I actually enjoyed a lot of the late 90s stuff even if it was arguably a step too far.

  • @IchibanPuroresu I think it could have gone on indefinitely if they had set a point where things were good enough to draw fans and stopped the constant increase in superhuman matches. Let the established guys work at a pace they know will draw as a main event, while letting the little tikes grow to that level over time. Am I correct in assuming that Kawada style simply requires both wrestlers to get as angry as possible before the opening bell?

  • @KingAndy1992 By stopping the "constant increase" you stop the philosophy of King's Road. What's more, it basically achieved all of its goals by about 1997 with Kobashi accepted as a top guy (the last of the 4 pillars to 'ascend'). What you're talking about is basically the NOAH model. So far it hasn't commercially worked too well. :( But you are bang on about Kawada style. It's a mix of HATE, HATE, GRUMPINESS, HATE, and KICKS TO THE MOUTH. And really really good selling.

  • @IchibanPuroresu You'd better sell well, or you'll be pulling a yellow boot out of your eye socket.

  • I enjoyed your description of Kings Road. And where are you from?

  • @FUCKULUKEFITZGERALD Thanks. I'm from Sydney but I've lived in London for roughly 5 years.
