  • Dude? Chill on the '...death on Angel's Landing" stuff, huh?

    Bad vibe and inappropriate.

  • I think only an irresponsible parent would take their kids on that hike (over 5 fatalities). I hiked it , but recommend Adults only !!!

  • Your ridiculous i've been hiking it since i was five its just fine....

  • @bigbadbobdunn health and safety fag

  • you guys suck i an hour from here your a bitch who probably was to fat to hike it!

  • Angels landing is so fun! Another fun less strenuous one, is to the very top of the emerald pools, its pretty fun to climb over the last ridge to come to this gorgeous pool surrounded by cliffs, it was funny, we didnt see anyone really on the up/down, but all of a sudden when you came to the top pool, there was like 50 people all chillaxing having lunch lol

  • It's very beautiful. . . I was there two days ago but didn't get the chance to go all the way because it was raining.

  • o.O It looks different in summer time. I was there this winter and it was stunning... but I felt the ridge was wider... now it looks more than ever that it was a clever idea to STAY ON THE PATH. :D

  • very good! Well done!

  • don't miss angels. That is so true. I live yr for over 9 months. Hike it all the time.

  • I grew up near there and have done it in my flip flops.

  • i was going to do that hike but then the tour guide at Zion told us that it was not for anyone afraid of heights. i am not afraid of heights but my brother was so we didnt go on it. instead we wnt on Hidden Canyon(which was not any better because the first 500 feet up were swithbacks and the rest of the 850 up was where the path was 3-4 feet wide, u had to grab on to chains, and if u looked over to thte side there was a shear drop off. it was fun but you shouldnt go on it if u r afraid of height

  • i went to zion with my grandpa and my mom and sister last year and it was awesome. we did the tiny hike to weeping rock which was really cool and then we did the 2 mile hike to the pools and that was pretty cool too.

  • I wish I was in better physical shape. I'm planning on going in 2 weeks but I'd never be able to finish that hike. It looks beautiful up there.

  • Thanks for a great video. I did this hike last year and it was one of my all time favorites. It's really mind over matter when it comes to the chains section. Just don't look down.

  • great vid. Next year we plan to follow in your foot steps!

  • Anyone attmpting the upper portion of this route would be weel advised to wear proper hiking shoes with solid traction on the rubber solel. I would say the chains can be a distraction from what you should concentrate the most on, which is secure footing and overall balance on the trail. The chain os there as an added measure protection...not neccasarily to pull yourself up with it. I saw a few people in 'less then stellar physical shape' make it to the top when I was there.

  • I was there about a month ago. It is my favorite hike ever. The view is amazing. Jogging down the switch backs is pretty fun too. Thanks for the video!

  • On my second trip to Zion, my climbing partner and I rock climbed the sheer 1,700 ft. vertical south face on a route called prodigal son. It took us 2 1/2 days to reach the summit. Sleeping in porta-ledges is actually quite relaxing!

P.S.- Don't throw rocks off from up there!

  • Whoa! Now that's getting to the top the hard way! Wow! Good point about the rocks.

  • A fantastic place. The final ascent to the top of the landing isn't for the squeamish. It might be easy to walk upon a sidewalk, but consider raising it 1,700 feet in the air with sheer drops on both sides. The knees can become a little less stable. However, if you are game, it is an unforgettable experience.

  • it's a long way up, but a natural high when you get there! The last section, beyond "Scouts overlook" is only reached by maybe 40% of the hikers. It is a bit treacherous up there and Not for young children ! . If you want to fall off the edge, it's up to you. No 'railing' or 'fence' to stop you. this isn't dumbed down like some kind of Disneyland ride, which I love about it.

  • 'Watch that chain...!' LOL, know Exactly what you are talking about. It's interesting that the drama of the trail is what is most memorable; aside from the views from top and trail. Thankyou so much for sharing this great video, it was good to see it again!

  • thanks! I'm going there soon, can't wait to see it for myself!
