  • Keith Urban sounded awesome! It's a shame he was basically just a background singer.

  • poser

  • Great song and performance. Love Jamey Johnson, but no need to dis "pretty boy" --Keith Urban is awesome and has earned his keep in country music. What I love about country music is that all the artists support each other.

  • Wow! Extremely good for a live concert. Of course my generation uses auto tune... Story of my life. (Of course it sounds good at times) Very seldom though...

  • Get that pretty boy off the stage and let a real man sing a REAL country song.

  • Fucking good ass song

  • love this, keith's harmony is on spot!

  • Great great song .. and really good harmony. KU adds alot. love Jamie Johnson!

  • beautiful song, great video....

  • To this day: this song still makes me cry- what a song. thy dont make them like that anymore

  • Great collaboration!! Really do love this song! :)

  • dieser johnson singt alle in grund und boden - wahnsinn !!!!

  • No offense, but I like to hear Jamey sing this all by himself....I love his voice.....

  • yuk get keith urban out of there ...he breaks down and cries during his own songs lol ...............true wanker

  • Love this song man....

  • This song has got to be THE BEST acoustic solo ever recorded and apparently you think so,too,Keith! With you being one of the badest guitarist EVER! This makes for one hell of a great song for y'all to perform together! Thank's for sharing this with me and the rest of the world. I love Jamey Johnson's great talent and you're not so bad yourself either,Keith! haha! Smiles & Blessings from Carol in Nashville

  • A song that every singer-songwriter wishes he/she had written. Incredible song Jamey with a terrific back-up performance Keith.

    James Konopasek, Singer-songwriter, Mosier, Oregon

  • I can't believe a true country star such as Jamey would even be willing to set foot on the same stage as that pussy pop-country fruit! Keith is ruining country by injecting is pop crap into it. So all you country wannabe pretty people: Keith Urban, Kenney Chesney, Taylor Swift, Rascall Flatts, Carry Underwood, among others, and all their fans can all go fuck yourselves. STOP KILLING COUNTRY MUSIC!

  • @SDAddario88 well that's what happens when folks apply an imaginary set of rules to him and then get pissed when he doesn't comply with them. quit trying to put folks like him in a box.

  • @SDAddario88 Thank you for that...I do like Taylor Swift simply on the principle that she's an original artist unlike ALL of the other people you mentioned. The only reason I clicked on this video is that I was shocked to find that Jamey Johnson would play with Keith Urban. FUCK keith urban, and Rascall Flatts , Emerson drive, and all these other toolboxes, you're all breaking rule #2 of jamey johnsons "rules of the bar"

  • Keith Urban is exactly what is wrong with country music he failed at rock n roll so turned to country writes fruity bullshit pop music but hell that is nashville today sadly

  • Such true lyrics!!

  • This song reminds me of my grandpa and his pictures and stories from the wars and depression

  • I think that Jamey should've never let Keith on stage with him I mean he ha. Such a high voice nit that I don't like Keith but he just has such a high voice and it totally ruins the song amazin song though go Jamey

  • @theskpds as Jamey once said to a fan "this is my d@#$ show and I'll do whatever I want to do".

  • Jamey is the real deal and is bringing back the outlaw genre and bringing back good ole fashion country music the way it should be and not this country hip hop crap everyone else in nashville is doing.

  • For anyone talking shit on Keith,,,obviously he's cooler than we all thought. Cuz Jamey would never let the Keith we all seem to see onstage with him. Keith apparently is the real deal and like someone said maybe just being himself, I mean he does write his own songs and just like Jamey says F it about his godawful hair Keith says F it about the highlights in his!

  • Jamey Johnson is slowly but surely becoming the best that`s ever been !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what a treat to have keith as your side man for a very cool song. i'm diggin it.

  • Sweet Song..............

  • Truth is I'm NOT a big country music fan (my girlfriend is) BUT this is a good song. I just thank God he's not singin bout his dog, lol

  • Jamey is a great singer. Sounds like Bocephus and David Alan Coe all mixed up together.

  • Jamey Johnson seems kinda boring live. He's so stiff it's awkward. I love how Keith seriously gets into the music. Either way amazing song Keith's backing vocals were an amazing addition.

  • Jamey Johnson is the man. Keith is too. Both awesome....Man I could listen to this song over and over all day. Love it.....

  • look at the retard that can spell georges name ,you fuck go back to jersey shitbag

  • @Mrbuckhunter144 .. George Straight dosn't write music his own, or anybody elses. He has more #1's but never wrote a single one. This song was Co wrote by Johnson. Johnson wrote Give it away for George..but george never wrote a song for Jimmey

  • This song is just done better by Jamey Johnson and only Jamey Johnson.

@ejhandler, I agree. He is too country for modern country music radio, and it is very sad.

  • Keith Urban doesn't even deserve to carry Jamey's bags. JJ is the real deal, what country used to be and what it still should be. I agree with the person who said Jamey Johnson is almost too country for country radio. Which is sad. Enough with that pop-shit.

  • why would anyone wanting to hear real country buy hip hop records? I appreciate your suggestion, I just think that anyone who wants to hear real country would know it's not on a hip hop album.

  • wtf is he singin with keith urban for? might as well throw chesney swift and toby keith with em if he wants to go pop country

  • @augibrown actually he did write it... he writes like 99% of his music the rest is a few covers... you know he has talent when george strait cuts one of his songs.

  • This video is perfect, well except for keith urban. But, close enough.

  • @augibrown Yes, Jamey Johnson did write this song. To be specific, he co-wrote it with James Otto and Lee Thomas.

  • @TheBuffPoodle george-straight-wrote-it

  • Comment removed

  • @Mrbuckhunter144 George Strait didn't write it. And it's Strait not Straight.

  • two stars playin and singin thier asses off.

  • Ich liebe amerikanische country musik.Ist in Europa(Deutschland) leider nicht so beliebt.

    Gruß aus Deutschland/Germany

  • This song is almost too country for country stations.

  • Damn, this video brought tears to my eyes.

  • What an act and a great person. Happy to see someone like that become successful.

  • Any body who dont like this needs to go listen to eeminiem or some CRAP LIKE THAT!!! this is AWESOME. Love Jamie and KEITH!!!

  • jamey is this generations hank williams, his songs are so good it makes me cry..

  • anyhting with jamey johnson is the shit i don't care who you are

  • i love this song, im a metalhead, love my death metal and thrash metal but hearing this song opened me up to some country, im still a metal head at heart but this songs makes me think of looking at pictures with my grandfather and listeing to his stories.....love this song and love jamey johnson

  • one song may run the charts...but all his music is timeless....beautifully written emotional lyrics.....songs thats tell stories.......whent he pop wonders are long gone he will still be singing writing and touching us all...

  • great song !!!! thanks for postin

  • Jamey is the man.....PERIOD!

  • Wow!! It's all I can say! Breath-taking!

  • amazing! Jamey is so talented!

  • There are no words to describe how I feel when I listen to this song....I love it and makes me think of my dad.....and past generations....and I hope our children and grandchildren remember and reflect about what came before them....<3

  • What a POWERFUL song. If this one doesn't get to your core, check for a pulse.

  • jamey johnson is the merl hagard of this generation

  • One of the best song writers of our time!

  • This is marvelous.

  • Dont really like keith urban but he did a great job backing up Jamey. lol that's where he needs to be.

  • dammit that just makes me wanna die like a Marine in the Pacific

  • I love this song. gives me chills everytime I hear it.....

  • keith urban could sing with anyone and it would sound just awesome!

  • This is an amazing song! My uncle Paul looks just like Jamey.

  • agreed he is straight up country.

  • WOW!Just Effing WOW!

    Thanks for posting this.

  • WOW! Just effing WOW!

    Thanks for posting this.

  • this is amazing!! they are both so talented and this is my favorite song!!

  • who would have thought that these two voices would work so well together. very good performance of a great song

  • For those of you who say you wish Keith would just do country and not try to be pop, well, Keith is just being Keith. He is always true to himself and that is what makes him so awesome.

  • @twinEAH Yeah Keith being true to himself means he likes money, and will sing whatever cheese songs the recording company throws at him to keep him in his hollywood lifestyle with that anorexic Nicole Kidman. Please face facts, Keith 'hollywood' Urban is a total sell out. Incredibly talented guitar player, showing a ton of promise 12 years ago, now a joke to true artists. He should go on tour with Miley Cyrus, they are about the same as far as artistic ability

  • Only one word to describe this performance,,,,AWESOME!!!!!

  • @citygirlwannbe I don't know. "Amazing" does the job too.

  • Urban would be a helluva singer if he would just sing real country music. It is a damn shame he has to try to be a pop star. He was really impressive with his Marty Robbins montage at the ACMs.

  • @mistascott007 kisss mine.. you are just jealous.. he is all man and all country.. i fuckin hate haters like yourself

  • @mistascott007 I just don't understand why people have to say stuff like this...oh...wait..that's right...so that they can be true to themselves...isn't that what Keith is doing with his music? being true to himself?

  • @BigBoiJC If being "true to himself" is singing silly songs about a girl looking good in his shirt, more power to him. I just think music should have more depth to it than that.

  • @mistascott007 ---------dont be a hater... hes a good musician man you are probably no damm good at what you do thats why you are such a hate full person but one day you will grow up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mistascott007 Do you have Clint Black's "The Hard Way"? if you haven't, get it. it's one of the best albums to come out of the nineties. it's got some really great writing on it.

  • I was there that night. What a huge thrill to see Jamey play this spectacular song! Keith rocked ... as usual.

  • I dont really listen to pop country but my now ex gf got us tickets to keith urbans concert and it was a blast, I would definitely go again if he came around here

  • Great job on a great song. Thanks for posting! Jamie Johnson is a songwriter's songwriter, and Keith is a heck of an artist, to say nothing of his amazing guitar playing skills!

  • great version good work on getting this filmed love this version

  • keith urban is a beast u should listen to more of him hes a beast hes a dawg

  • @utley8584 shut the fuck up with the lil wayne references you stupid little shit

  • I have to agree. Not a big fan of Keith Urban, but he did a nice job here.

  • couple of badasses,LAYIN it down!!!!

  • huge fan of both of them. keith is alot more popular but still a cool dude.

  • i knew jamey was talented, but i was really impressed with Keith. I've never been a huge fan of his, but having as high a celebrity status as he has he did a great job taking the back seat on this song. He didn't try and change anything, he just added alot with his harmony and guitar playing. impressive.

  • agreed... im not a fan of his either, but he sounded good in harmony on this one.

  • awesome.

  • I was gonna comment on how faggy Keith Urban is before watching the video, but, he really was respectful and added some nice harmonies to the song.

  • Love this Song so much. Reminds me of my Dad when he was in the War in 1943. It was Winter time. I am sure my Dad was scared to Death to be a young Man and fighting for all of us..Love ya Daddie you are my Hero!!!

  • No two persons in this world share the exact same taste in music, its like DNA. Both Jamey and Keith are both talanted artists in their own right. I have an appreciation for both artists. I have seen Keith Urban perform live, long before he moved to the US, he is one of if not the hardest working performer/artist getting around today, he puts in 110% into his live performances. The man can play an sing basically any song worth covering and do it justice be it country or rock.

    Jason

  • @sheebaridgeback agreed - 100% right on!

  • Guys didn't anybody notice that little hiccup at 3:01 ? Shows that nobody's perfect, not even Jamey Johnson. He's still pretty awesome though

  • he is by fare one of the best singer song writers I have ever seen...

  • If you want to hear real country music....go buy jamey johnson's cd. None of that hip hop shit.

  • @bwil021 UI think he's the best and his song here really hit my heart,And makes you think of what you should be happy about.Keep what you have and don't lose it if it's close to the heart. And if something comes along you can't live without grab it and never let it go.Great song.Love it a lot.

  • @bwil021 my bf got his guitar song for christmas and its pure musical genius jamey is the best singer in country music these days when u hear him hes got so much emotion in his songs and makes u go back to the days of waylon and johnny

  • @bwil021 I so agree!!!! He's the real deal!

  • I love how Jamey Johnson holds his notes longer than Keith Urban. Better artist in my own opinion. His projection is just the epitomy of country music and the outlaw era. CMT and Nashville can kiss my ass. Jamey Johnson is the only thing keeping it alive right now. If you want to hear some real country music, come down to Texas fuckers!

  • Jamey has that traditional sound where Keith has a newer country sound. I prefer the traditional as I tend to listen to WSM 650 more than FM stations. Some prefer the other country sound. They've all got more singing talent than I'll ever have

  • I sang this song 1 month ago to my beautiful mother while she was dying.R.I.P. mom love you and missing you so much.your son Dale.

  • sorry to hear about your mother god bless.

  • One of my favorite songs!!! I love it even more now with this version of Jamey Johnson and Keith Urban!!!

  • haha agreed

  • Comment removed

  • Too much time spent trying to determine what real country is or should be. Keith Urban and artists like Taylor Swift on one end of the country music spectrum and artists like Jamey Johnson on the other. It's all good. Respect and the the brotherhood of country music lovers. Just listen and enjoy.

  • Im not a real big fan of Keith but thats not to say he isnt great at what he does because with that guitar in his hands he is one of the best country music has seen, he just isnt my style. jamey on the other hand is what I think country should be and the way is lyrics put the image in your head is just amazing. this song was really good before but keith took it to another level

  • This is the best version of this song I have ever heard!

    Jamey is the real deal!

It's great to hear some REAL country again.

  • this is got to be one of the coolest versions of this song i have seen...two great artists...i wouldnt take money to play with them either...I would PAY to play with them....johnson doesnt give a shit about being famous, its about jammin and playing with great artists...go back to farming...

  • Farmer you apparently have no clue who Jamey Johnson is. Maybe you should do a history lesson and see the hits he has written. This man has lived his songs. As for Keith Urban, you won't find ONE other country artist that plays for an audience like he does. You get your money's worth with him. These 2 artists respect each other. Great vid.

  • you tube commenters are 90% negative pricks. this vid is great....love jamey johnson

  • He was singin the high harmony.... not really any other way to sing it!!!

  • i got to meet jamey a while back and hes a pretty cool guy. probably one of the best songwriters in nashville...and him and keith did one helluva job on this song

  • this song has grown on me, i love it =]

  • i love the transformation of jamey johnson years ago he was clean cut polished doin what the "industry" wanted him to do. somewhere along the line he said fuck it and is doing it his way, and is a HUGE success

  • Gives me goosebumps everytime... simply amazing

  • ME TOO! its crazy but i love it, i get major goos bumps EVERY single time i hear this.

  • ok RockGuitarGay..your prety gay

  • What a show that would be...thanks for posting that. Come to Montana boys!

  • Love that song!

  • Spectacular Video!

  • is it me or does jamey sound a little tipsy on this one haha

  • whoever said jamey is a one hit wonder is a fuckin idiot. hes wrote 75% of the hits uve heard on country music radio in the last two years. not to mention two albums of his own and his third comin out in a week. get a fuckin clue b4 u open ur mouth. Jamey's the realest thingout there.

  • aaaaa he's too macho i'like to suck his dick, too bad he's dead....MIAUUUUUUU SUNSHINELADY2 IM SORRY BUT IM GAY.

  • I wish Keith Urban sang real country instead of that pop crap. He would be one hell of a country singer.

Jamey is a legend in the making. He is the next outlaw.

  • Bill Anderson has called Jamey Johnson

the Hank Williams of this generation.

    I agree

  • I was there . AWESOME . Jamey will do just fine cashing his checks from the songs he has written . Like Give it away by George Strait and Honkytonkbadonkadonk fro Trace Adkins

  • one hit wonder? lol. i highly doubt this song is the end of the line for jamey johnson. he writes real songs. songs that ppl can relate to. that's what makes legends my friend... not one hit wonders

  • @mattkincannon Jamey Johnson is a genuine artist. His music speaks for itself.

  • @mattkincannon hey jamey has been wrighting great songs for many many years for other great artist and alot of them hits this man is true blue collar and a great man and artist

  • @mattkincannon Right on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
