@moeandhisguitar no such thing is still a masterpiece, even if its pop. just because its pop music doesnt detract from its value. in fact, i daresay this whole album is much better than battle studies.

i never questioned wether it was a masterpiece lol. i think its one of his best songs. i was just saying he kind of stopped playing pop and transitioned to blues. and btw album studies did suck. the pop element in this song is what makes it john mayers, otherwise it would just be another jazz song (the whole song is pretty much jazz)

This is one of JM best live shows besides Any Given Thursday, Where the light is, Trio and Austin City Limit. There's something about the sound that makes this performance so incredible.
