@alesbica common give her a brake she was the only one in hollywood who had the courage to come out and she did it with style....she lost her career, but she continued to fight for equal rights and was continuing to support the LGBT community.....she stayed true to herself and she never hide who she really is...we live in a world dominated by hetero human beings....lets just be thankful that some are open minded about us...and lets' be honest we don't need their support just their acceptance

@alemeyo We also don't need to be ignored. I'm just requesting that she not make her questions formed in such a way that assumes ever woman is attracted to the opposite sex. She just needed to change ONE word "man" to "mate" to not make it gender specific. I'm not talking about all the OTHER things she's done and said that make the assumption that everyone is straight. @alesbica you have to understand that not only the majority of the LGBT community watch her show but also straight people....so she is obligated to be on both sides but that doesn't mean she support both sides

ellen is an open minded person and what she has to say she says, but she isn't stupid....she knows exactly when to talk about being gay and when to stop...i will give ellen 10 more times a break cuz she's earned it

I'm not asking her to turn the show into a LGBT-focused show; I was just commenting that she could have formed that question in such a way that there's no assumption that every woman is straight. She just needed to write "mate" instead of "man". Sheesh!! Do you get it now?
