I first saw this in 1977 in Sandusky Ohio at some theater in downtown. I really enjoyed it then. Went out to Ponderosa Steak House and had one of the best Steak Dinner's I had ever had. This movie just is one of the few Disney movies I enjoyed. After about 1979 with North Avenue Irregulars and Candleshoe. Disney movies were good up until 1980.

I remember in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, I'd just started the game for the first time, and saw a lighthouse. I was on a mission at the time, but I didn't care; I ditched the car, and ran to the lighthouse. I scaled up the stairs, climbed to the top, and sang Pete's Dragon songs. LMFAO!!!

Go to amazon.com (If you're not from America, Google "amazon" and then the name of your country, and you can find your countries' Amazon), then search Pete's Dragon, and you can purchase the DVD. At 6:34 as Nora told Pete that she and Lampie would love Pete to live with them in the lighthouse, what was the plan before for Pete was once Nora found Pete in the cave? Maybe Nora and Lampie were going to try to find Pete an orphanage but, they changed their mind and wanted him to live with them in the lighthouse. (I thought they were planning on having Pete live with them once Nora found Pete in the cave).
