I saw Shona in the role of Rose several times on the national tour of Aspects Of Love and she was sensational. I can't remember the actor's name but he was equally good. I don't like Sarah Brightman's version but do like Michael Ball's.......at the end of the day it's all down to personal taste.
Anytime this sclock is sung I just keep thinking. "I...I sleep with everyone, with your girlfriend, with your Dad." Forbidden Broadway at its best. "and if you're in the audience then you'll sleep too".
i think we wouldnt really notice his off notes if they had some chemistry going. But it doesnt seem like theyre on the same page. I think they shouldve just left it as a solo
Probably because it wasn't written as a duet! The woman has been given the lower part (presumably the upper would be out of her vocal range in the key that they're singing), so it sounds very odd.
when you saw the original show in London, there will NEVER be anything like it!!!

it is not the woman who even starts this song...and he sounds like a castrate

wow what a horrible rendition. this in my oppinion will always be john Barrowman's song. Or if you want a female then sarah Brightman.

This is terribly sung. Quite strange that this would be allowed to happen.

This is really horrible! I even like Sarah Brightman's version better than this - which says a lot.
It's a beautiful song when done right - which only Michael Ball can IMHO.

Very enjoyable as a duet...and fantastic voices!! The national tour was very well done; adored Shona's portrayal of Rose. xx

It was pretty nice until they started singing together! The notes they're singing totally don't fit with each other!

I love Tim Rogers! Thought he was fantastic as Alex. Am sure the pianist is the keyboard player from the tour orchestra.
