  • excuse me but who has the song? love it

  • Don't forget the Irish fight against imperialism who have been fighting against imperialism now, for generations!

  • @dropkicknicos Do not forget that up until the late 1920's 70% of the British army was Irish, and that was at the height of imperial Britain's power, more Irish fought for the empire than they ever did against it.

The Irish fought for nationalism not internationalism.

  • @1988theLAW @1988theLAW At one time, James Connolly was also a member of the British Army, who then went on to become one of the greatest Marxist revolutionary leaders of all time. Conditions back then were strife for a lot of the Irish population who were living in slums with no food on their tables. Joining the Brit Army back then was the only option for many, to keep themselves and their families from dying of starvation.

  • @dropkicknicos The irish supported hitler, whose fascist imperialism was far more oppressive and "evil" than the british, the irish are not saints nor are they martyrs for the world, they are nationalists, they expressly targeted civilians and are therefore terrorists.

the IRA at its height contained 15,000 men, were as hundreds of thousands fought for ireland in the 1st WW on Britains side only to have their cause betrayed by 1,000 men (the easter "uprising").

  • @1988theLAW I have learned not to get drawn into pathetic arguments with the bourgeois elements on youtube, so good day to you sir!

  • Was that Wasun at the end song?
