The correct method. One tip though. When you put the record back in the cover, put it so the sleeve opening is toward the top of the cover. That way the record won't fall back out, and it will help keep dust out.
How good's your gear though? The turntable in this vid is a direct-drive, fully automatic unit that were it made today, would probably fetch $500-600, more than a plain Technics SL-1200MK2, and the hi-fi system its hooked up to is equal caliber. I'm careful with records in dusting them before play and handling to ensure they keep sounding leagues better than CDs.
shit i just grab my vinyl with one hand and pop it on the player lol and i never clean my lp's haha they still sound good though. I clean my stylus once in a while though =D

And, I clean my stylus every other side by cuing it into a dry chunk of Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to keep it from wearing.
