damn, wish we had something like this in North Carolina. Don't know if there is any big community sporting events in America like this, just the good old team sports every where. Pretty sweet.... how serious to you guys take this? Like is it a friendly rivalry? or a feud? What's the record, like who has won more.

@Invisible162 that is false information. The person they found in the street was not killed due to Shrovetide. He had a heart attack. Nothing to do with the game, he was just playing earlier inthe day as he did every year for numerous years.

I used to work in Ashbourne and used to love this event ( of course I didn't work there the days of the Shrovetide football as the shop was all boarded up ) I had many happy memories of this event, thanks for putting this up, its great to watch, I will be back there one day
