For one thing, a totally free market would create a very competitive culture where giving to others would come second to "getting ahead" in the market. Also, a free market means everyone has LESS money due to open competition and a finite money supply. Also, voluntary charity functions IDENTICAL to state hand-outs since it's only a band-aid and not a cure.

I know some reasonably intelligent young people who are sympathetic to him because they are just beginning to develop political convictions and experience with following politics.
