  • so I have 4g of ram, how do I get this to work like yours!?

  • i loved this game when i ahved it but now my video card is broked :((((((

  • @catalyyyyyn

    did you mean:

"I Loved this game when i had it but my video card is broken now :(((((" ? xD

  • i have a shitty FPS and i can play well with minimium resolution, i don't know whats wrong anybody can tell me what should I do to play dmc4 at high resolution? My computer:

    Windows 7 Professional

AMD 32bits x2 athlon (3.01 Ghz each core)

    2 GB ram ddr2 1333 Mhz

Nvidia geforce 7100 GS 512 mb shader 3.0

  • @AlexmeisterM You must purchase a middle-end videocard. I've been running it pretty fine using Athon II X2 2,8GHz 2Gb ddr2 800mhz and my old 8800Gt 256Mb videocard.

  • Has anyone notice that the ice on the Frost monsters are grey? They look like the 360 version.

  • @MarioSuper313 I record all my videos with Fraps.

  • i launch my games in 1920*1080p too.everything maxed out

  • can i run this game on max settings? according to systemrequirements lab i can. but that site is fucked up.

i have ati radeon hd 2600 pro

dual core 2.60 ghz 1.2gb video ram

    2gb ram

  • this is bullshit, my Ati Radeon HD 4350 cant even do that.

  • @RoroCWalker

Just because it's next gen. cards doesn't mean it'll outperform previous gens...

  • ur telling me a 3870 is better than a 4350 ?

  • Yeah I am. Your 4350 is nothing special.

  • ati have consumer series, and high-end series...4350 is a consumer-one 3870 was an high-end when come out.

same thing with new series, if you buy a 5770, is not better of 4870 or 4890, you should buy a x870/x890/x970 models, 4870/4890 are still very good card, you should go for one, if dont wanna spend extra cash for a 5870 at least, also be sure to have a good cpu.

  • My CPU is a Intel Core i3 530 @ 2.93 Ghz

    It`s a dual core with 4 channels

  • i3 is a joke XD aniway should be more than good.. at what resolution you would to play? aniway i suggest to upgrade your video card, than you should be ale to play this with no problem at all.

i suggest ati 4870, or gtx275...or better, those have nice value/performance ratio

  • Oh and btw, my screen goes up to 1920x1080, I would prefer this :D

  • I play all my games in 1920x1080 since I bought a new monitor.

  • lol i'm getting over 100fps even with higest setting in all.

  • Well Fraps locks the frame rate to the amount of frames you set it to record in.I recorded this video in 90 frames per second in this video. The bitrate of Fraps video files is enormous making a video recorded with Fraps in 1920x1080 2 minutes long approximately 2.93GB in size. When I had HD 3870 as in this video I got over 100 fps too with the highest settings.

  • @utltrarama That's why you record with something other than fraps while fraps is running. :P

  • @TimmyTubularr I recorded it with fraps but at 90 fps so the frame rate wouldnt be capped by fraps. Downside is the hard drive activity was intensive while recording the video.

  • i get 25-40 fps with my intel gma 4500mhd:D lowest settings ofc expect textures:high

  • mr ultra can my pc runs this game like yours with my pc spec,

    asrcok g31m-s

    nvidia gf9500gt 1gb

    4gb ddr2

    core 2 quad q8200 2.33ghz

  • Yes it should almost be able to run this game with the same settings I use.

  • it works with 1 gb RAm and ati 5655 with shader model 4

  • lol lies not even a gtx 295 can do that

  • omg and im not so stupid to belive this

  • What version of pixel shader is required and what's the price of it?

  • The game uses shader model 3, not sure if it uses shader model 4 on vista.

  • sorry but ASUS 8800 GT (512 mb) is not better ? just want to ask....

  • I looked on some reviews of HD 3870 and 8800 GT and in some games HD 3870 is better then 8800 GT and vice versa.

  • Dear mr ultra i,m using 2.6ghz amd phenom x3 triple core and n9600gt nvidia 512 ddr3 graphics card, memory (ram) 4 gb and i using windows vista..can get a best viewers.....

  • uhm i have vista and a shader model 4 video card its a . geforce 9500 xfx soo i dont know lol

  • buy a sapphire hd 4870 1 gb gddr5

  • I already have HD 4870 1GB gddr5 since spring this year. I get 115-130 fps with all settings maxed out at 1440x900.

  • oh no sry i have with default settings 160-190 fps at maximum i have 85-95

  • wtf i have at highest settings 176-188 fps

  • how about nba live 08 pc version hehehe!!!

  • Cool

    I had geforce 6800

play at high settings on 1280x768

    45-50 FPS

  • Thanks! Sounds good for a a geforce 6800.

  • I agree with you! :)

  • im a little bit dissapointed on pc gaming ive been playing pc console since doom and with new console such as xbox or ps3 i dont see much difference on a pc i think that pc games could offer much more but game developers dont take advantage on the capabilities of a pc i think its much more realiable and more profit to companies to make games for consoles rather than pc based games i just might give up on pc gaming by the way i own gforce 9600 ovreclocked sli with 4gb ram and quad corepc rockon!!

  • I think Capcom took good advantage of pc when they ported dmc4 to it. The graphics are enhanced and there are more game modes and you get much higher resolution and the fps isn't locked to 30 fps. And I think console games are way to expensive. The last console I owned was Playstation 1 after that I went for pc since. Haven't played on consoles since. My pc is built on Phenom II X4 955 and ATi HD 4870 1GB gddr5.

  • hi mate.. nice rig

    do you know how a 1gb 4670 would compare to a 512mb 3870?

  • I've read a review of HD 4670, HD 4670 is a little slower then HD 3870.

  • is HD 4770 better than your HD 3870??

  • Yes HD 4770 is better then HD 3870. I have HD 4870 now.

  • Dear friend....I was wondering.....How good is the quality of the game runing in pc.I know that it depends...but what would be the perfect hardware to see a better graficts and performance than the xbox 360? basically is possible to have better graficts in the pc version? Thanks in advance...

  • Yes you get enhanced graphics with pc version and the frame rate goes up to 120 fps. On the console version the fps is locked to 30 fps. The resolution in the pc version of the game can be set up to 2560x1600 if you have a 30 inch monitor. I don't know the exact enhanced graphical difference between the pc version and the xbox 360 because I haven't played the game on xbox 360. I you run dmc4 a quad core cpu @ 3Ghz with HD 4870 1GB gddr5 @ 2560x1600 maxed out and 4x AA you get 55 fps.

  • mate, i need some help. I'm not really a geek when it comes to graphic / memory n stuff like that. I play on low detail for everything (shadow q etc.) n i put the thing on 800 by 600. When i record it with my camtasia 5, the video of it is very sloow and it skips a lot. If it wouldn't bother u (or ne1 who plays pc) can you help me to record the gameplay goo? thx

  • ps: i play on laptop (vista)

  • Camtasia 5 is a screen capturing program. Try using Fraps or game cam. Those are game screen capturing program. In addition to the program, you need to maybe close all programs running in the background or maybe your computer isn't up to it to run the capture program while playing. It takes a big hit on your computer when capturing video while playing and it may lag or not lag at all depending on your specs of our computer.

  • thanks mate, i've been getting a lot of replys to use FRAPS. I must say that FRAPS is amazing for a screen recorder, but the con is that the recorded file is large :S. neways, thanks

  • Fraps compresses the files with its custom codec making them around 4 minutes long and 4GB in size. An uncompressed avi file in a resolution 1440x900 and 4 min long is 30GB in size.

  • hey dude is it only vista which support directx 10? now im using vista ultimate 64bit sp1 but wanna change it into xp 64bit

  • Yes it's only Vista that supports DirectX 10.

  • I have this game too, but how come i cant find 1440x900 resolution, the only wide screen is 1280x720, if anyone can help please help

  • me too. are you using DX10?

  • man, if finally found how to change the resolution, i bet you're using 75 hz for the screen frame rate, so change it to 59hz. then the new reolution setting will come out

  • Thx works for me =D

  • What is the soundtrack called?? Its different then the one in DMC3...

  • dude i dont know but i have the same rig like u only 2 gb of ram with 667mhz, pci x16 and gtx260(192,65nm) are different and get only 59-61fps on full settings. Should i upgrade to ddr2 ram with more mhz or and intel quad to get more fps??

  • What resolution are you running the game? And you mean upgrade to ddr3? What cpu do you have now?

  • 1440x900 and athlon x2 6000+ 90nm

  • That's the same processor as I have. You could try as you said upgrade your memory to ddr2 800Mhz. I have 6GB A-Data DDR2 PC6400 800Mhz. Memory sticks are so cheap now days. I've upgraded my os to XP Professional x64 Edition since I made this video.

  • how can u change dente's style on a pc ?

  • Press the 1,2,3,4

  • JAJAJJ con mi 9600 gt hace 157.5 FPS

    NVIDIA SE COGE A ATI

  • Apparently you haven't red the description that I wrote for this video. I used the highest possible setting in the game and FRAPS uses half the cpu resources when recording.

  • is the same with my ati raedon hd3650 512 mb ddr3... a 8X

  • Remember that I got this frame rate when I recorded the video. Fraps makes the frame rate almost drop to half of what I would normally get.

  • I can run everything at super high with 4x AA with my 7800 GS and AMD Sempron 3300+ 2.0GHz with 1GB DDR ram With like 25 to 35 FPS

  • That's great for a 2.0Ghz cpu and 1GB ram.

  • I know For some reason I am able to play a lot of current games with those specs. It feels sad to upgrade to this:

    Processor:

    AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0GHz Dual Core

    Memory:

    2GB DDR2

    Video Card:

    Sapphire Radeon HD 3870

when I've been using these specs for so long I'll miss them.

But on the other hand I can't wait to be able to run stuff on max settings for everything :D

  • does the quality go any higher than 1440x900

  • I read on a web page that if you set the refresh rate for the monitor in the game to 59hz you can get as high as 2560x1600 resolution.

  • can i do this on ati hd 2400 xt mabe not super high but

  • I searched the internet and it seems that ATi HD 2400 meets the minimum system requirements.

  • thxs

  • whats is the name of this song?

  • its the theme song of the game. i know.. its badass. shit goes through my head a lot.

  • i have computer:

    Windows XP professional SP2

    cpu:Pentium IV 2.0GHz

    ram:1GB DDR2

    VGA:ATi HD 2600 512MB

    DirectX 9.0c

please tell me if that game does not support

    with this spec.

  • Your cpu is to slow for this game, you need at least a Pentium 4 3.2 Ghz. Everything meets the minimum system requirements. ATi HD 2600 is slightly above the minimum system requirements.

  • Does not support. Minimun Pentium 3 running at 3.2Ghz.

  • hey i already got devil may cry 4

and it runs pretty good but at the beginning when you are running the game there appears a video that says

capcom presents and there appears a woman in withe clothes and after that the video freezes, after that everything fine

please how can i solve that problem

  • Have you installed the latest version of Direct X? and the latest Driver for your graphics card? By the way the video you talk about a women in white clothes it's not a video it's computer rendered. It might be that it takes so much resources from your computer that it freezes.

  • hey pal.

do you think i can play this game with this specs:

    ram: 1.50GB ddr2

    cpu : 3.2ghz PENTIUM 4

video card: Nvidia ge force 7300 512 mb

    keyboard and mouse

What do you think? will i be able to play this game without problems even if i have this cpu?

    ANSWER PLEASE¡¡

  • Should be no problem playing Devil May Cry 4 with your specs. You should try a lower resolution to begin with to see how your computer handles the game.

  • yeah maybe youre right because my space in C directory is only 10 GB.on the other hand,is gamepad affect the program

  • I mean that you need to install more internal memory in the computer you know memory modules, you should at least have 2GB ram. Yes it's very little space you have left on your hard drive. dmc4 alone takes almost 8GB on the hard drive.

  • is intel pentium 4 3.0ghz good becuase i can get that for £24 i jus wanna know is it worth getting but it most be better than my intel celeron 2.0ghz atm right? tell me please if i should get it ^^

  • how i can solve it

    this is my spec

    memory:200gb

    ram:512mb DDR2

    VGA:Ge force 6600 512 mb

    Proccessor:Dual core 3.4 Mhz

    Monitor:Samsung

    Input:KEyboard and mouse

  • I checked the system requirements for dmc 4 and your is listed for the minimum sytem requirements. Your cpu is fine but maybe you should consider upgrading your graphics card and install more memory. I think that the game crashes for you because you have insufficient memory. With a new graphics card you can use higher resolution in the game.

  • hi i have installed my dmc 4 pc version

the movie is great but when in the middle of loading new gaMe my pc is automatically restart could you help me to solve my problem

  • What kind of hardware, graphics card and how much memory do you have in your computer? And what version of the driver for your graphics card do you have? The crash sounds like it has to do with some driver or hardware issue.

  • Ok so i have a SAPPHIRE ULTIMATE HD 3870 512MB GDDR4 i can run this game maxed out @ 1680x1050 & get average FPS of 74 fps it reaches about 94 and this is with Vista x86 Dx10 and only x4 PCI :), i'm very happy they sent me the better version of the card i originally purchased XD

  • Why aren't you using your card in a x16 pci-express slot? I have my cad pluged into a x16 pci-express 2 slot.

  • Ahh because my mbo only has x4 :) because it has AGP & PCI-E so its an upgradable type so it doesnt have very fast FSB speeds.. Because it needs to support all kinds of components, but not to worry im getting a LTx48 DFi board its a very good mbo,

    :)

  • i have the same graphics card as you so the game will run awsome on mine

  • you are shit asshole

  • SHUT UP WE ALL KNOW YOUR SHIT AT GAMES

  • yea we know that you are shit at games so dont admit it to the world

  • shut up faggot you aint even got a computer dumbass. your probably chating shit over the net using a computer cafe. you know nothing.

  • youve got no balls =P

  • do's this game have dx10?

and you say your playing it on a 3870...

i have a 4850 will this be enough to play at max settings ??

    cheers

    Paul

  • Yes this game has dx10. It should run just fine on HD 4850 on max settings.

  • haha brought it on saterday, really good game.

plays between 150-280fps... really kills it with everything maxed dx10

    cheers

    Paul

  • you're right xD

  • yep i have 3870 and remember crysis has bigger requirements and i can play it on max so dont worry you can!

  • sorry mate i havent saw that you got the answer lol

  • Amazing quality is this the best graphics card existing currently

  • the best currently on price/performance is hd 4870

  • Lol?

  • ...(continued from last question/comment) so I need to know if it looks THAT much better? because I'm thinking on probably getting a PS3 and then an HDTV that does 1080p (which is 1920x1200 if I'm not mistaken) and it's also cheaper for me than building a new PC right now besides that I barely have the time to build one due to work and life...

  • The diffrence between a pc and a gaming console is that you can customize the graphics in games on a pc. I've set every graphics settings to super high as it is called in the game. Anti-aliasing dose a very big diffrence on the graphics be romvoing almost all the jagginess. Capcom also added new features to the game's graphics that wasn't in the PS3 and XBOX 360 version. Oh and 1080p is 1920x1080. Hope this answers your question.

  • Well, I know the difference between a console and a PC...but I wanted to know the difference on Devil May Cry 4 specifically, but good answer thanks.

  • I have one question and I need an unbiased answer...does the PC version look THAT much better than the PS3/360 versions? or as usual, slightly better. I was thinking at the beginning of this year to make a new gaming PC AND buy a PS3 (my 360 died for the third time and I'm not interested on buying another one, I just sold it) to enjoy the PS3/console exclusives but it turns out with the job I have right now won't be able to do both right now...(continued)...

  • You get 50-70 fps, that's nice dude

  • Thanks!

  • It is just like a full animation its like 80 over its 100% use wow can u give me the specs of your pc

  • Here are the specs of my pc.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA770-DS3 PCI Express 2

    Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+

    Operating System: Windows XP SP3

Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 3870 512 GDDR4

LCD Monitor : Samsung SyncMaster 940BW

    Memmory: 4GB A-Data DDR2 PC6400 at 800Mhz

Sound Card: Creative SoundBlaster Audigy SE

Harddrives: Samsung Spinpoint T 500GB and Segate Barracuda 120GB

  • how much did that graphics card u got cost?

  • I'm from sweden and when I bought it in january 2008 it cost 1699 swedish corwns or 283 dollars. Today it only costs 1195 swedish crowns or 199 dollars. Everyrthing is more expensive in sweden then in usa so this card should be cheaper in your country.

  • it is hd??

  • If you mean if it's in High Defenition. Yes it's in HD actually it's 1440x900 pixels or 900p which is in between 720p and 1080p.
