how well does the thermosiphon work? I'm making one just now, but was thinking I would need a punp to circulate the water through the stove. Also what is the waterpipe like inside the stove? I was thinking on making a copper coil

As far as moving water thu the heater the thermosiphon works pretty well. You do have to stir the water in the tub to mix the hot and cold layers. The stainless coil makes 2.5 turns inside the heater before it comes out. Next time I'd put the coil higher in the heater so it absorbs more of the heat from the flames and exhaust gases and I'd put the fire at ground level. Right now the cold coil quenches the fire a bit and causes creosote to form. Wouldn't be as good to look at tho... Good luck!

It circulates through the natural effect of rising heat (thermosiphon). As the water gets hot it gets lighter and rises through the spiral. This drags more cold water in through the bottom pipe.

Lovely anyone want to do this just make sure you know that the contents of the container was if you get it used b/c some very deadly chemicals are stored in these things and the hot water could cause the plastic to release them from its pores. I love the robot man design and the fact that it will look interesting in the night especially if you get it so hot it glows.

YOU can make a hot tube in a pickup truck put tarp down in the back duck tape it down fill it with water from a hose put the hose in the exaust pipe and the other end in the water turn on the truck and you have your bubbles!

No circulation pump plus the water will get way too hot to be able to enjoy. After 119 degrees it will start to cook your insides. No jet action either. It still is a redneck idea where ever he is from.
