Xlink Kai: I need Wifi Max, and I don't think they have one in this country.

Ad-Hoc party: regardless of the tutorial I took to find it, I wasn't able to find it on the Japanese PlayStationStore, or I don't think it's there anymore.

We all excel at something but Inya kinda doesn't.  I think we would all say that Inya is the weakest member as far as fighting, but he is probably the funniest so it balances it out with the rest of us. He's not a bad player at all and is probably above average but he isn't an expert at any weapons like the rest of us. I'd say I'm the most skilled in our group given I can do things the rest of them can't, Serenity and Shinora on the same level then Velana then Inya.

Yeah, flash bombs work on most monsters. Doesn't work on Plesioth, Khezu, Crabs, Lao Shan Lung or Fatalis.

I hate Tigrex, but pitfall traps work great on him if you have something like duals or LS. He moves around too much for good GS attacks in a pitfall. Shock traps keep him still but he gets out of them twice as fast. If it is just down to fighting him without traps, I prefer GS because you can block and get good charged attacks on him.

My favorite range armor is Brown Blangonga Z. Favorite melee armor is probably Rathalos X, at the moment. Good all around armor is Rathalos X because it gives good defense, ups your attack and has plenty of slots.

Lol, it's cool that Capcom lets the fans name the attacks of the monsters by never giving an official name for them. My friends and I call it just the "Sweeping Beam" but "Street Sweeper" is cool and funny. We tend to rename things with names already, though. Like we call Life Powders "Heal Your Friends". Both have the same amount of syllables, so it's fine when you say it. "You got any more Heal Your Friends?"

Tranq one. If you do it solo, there's no reason not to put one to sleep to save time and effort. I also wouldn't recommend fighting two at once. No harm or shame in using flash or traps if you are doing it solo.

oh yeah, i was wondering. Do you have any advice on G-rank rajang? The quest where rajang stays in rage mode the whole time(i think so since he appears golden always). I'm a sns user and probably the ONLY one around reached G-rank. Sob... I want a team now like you guys.

If you can, roll to his right side only. I don't like fighting anything close up that can one-hit kill me by bumping into me, so I don't use SnS on him. However, if you can stick and roll, it will be good but hard to score the critical face shots while he is beaming and not get hit. I'd say to keep him in place with shock traps to rack up points. You may also want to try the sleep bombing route many do. High Sandman Spike and the Chaoshroom helm + felyne Gunpowder is a good set up for this.

No, pits will only work on his level 1 rage. He jumps out of pits when he is in level 2. But shocks always work. The highest sleep SnS is the High Sandman Spike. I don't really think a hypnoc weapon is higher. The meats work on other things like Rathalos, but it is hard to get them to eat it. I have 3 or so Rajang videos up with ice bows. You might want to look at that to see his attack patterns first before you try to fight him with no experience.

Yeah i just fought the G Rank one. Let me tell ya the Survival skill comes in handy. It took me atleast 5 rounds to kill with bombs. was'nt too difficult i also got a bunch of its weapons upgraded, mostly from horns/gores, or whatever they are called.

Wow, that is one of the most completely un-true things I've ever heard regarding monster Hunter. Like bow, your defense is nerfed. The kick-back and reload time makes you a sitting duck half the time. You have to learn the timing of each gun with each monster. The aiming is a bit clunky as well. You can't block, it takes a lot of money to make shots and takes up a lot of room in your backpack.

Thank you, I had to use babelfish to translate what you meant, though, lol. Some people think you don't need skill because you can stay far off and attack. But you can't always stay far off and attack and it takes longer to kill with range for some monsters. Each weapon has their weaknesses and strengths. I wouldn't say one is better than any other. Only that I prefer one over another. There's always someone who can own you with a weapon you think sucks.

I really hate this quest but only because of Grav and Diablos Charge that has a surprisingly wide range. i am trying to unlock the HR6 white fatalis, all i need to do is kill another crimson which would make 32 fata's killed. I am only unlocking it for those sweet Soaring Dragon Swords(I ran out of horns.). Once again, a bangup job by RK!!! 5/5.
