is it just me, or does it seem like a lot of people misinterpret Tony's "snuffing out" of Christopher. I mean, I've been watching the series broken up, in fragments, and out of order at times, but when I saw Christopher's death scene there was no question in my mind that Tony did it because Christopher was going to die anyway - like he was putting him out of his misery. That's what Tony looking in the back seat was all about - he sees the branches that impaled Chris, so he does it quickly.
In the episode Tony looks in the back of the car and sees the baby seat. That's why he killed Christopher because Tony knew Chris would put his baby in danger with his drug use as well...so he was not putting him out of his misery but was pissed that Chris put both families in jeopardy (His own and the mafia family) with his drug use
@stevepan007 Doubt it, Tony is way more selfish than that. It was all about business. He knew Chrissy was weak and one day prolly put Tony and who ever else in jeopardy of going to prison for life. I mean the guy fucking killed his own cousin who was pretty much a brother to him, do you really think he gives a fuck about a baby?

The way he was talking. I know this is a TV show, but giving the circumstance he may did the right thing by his nephew. Would I have done that? no…would a politician have done it? @Mercedesbenzrox the real meaning of honour is duty sometimes duty makes people do things they wouldnt want to do normally but duty is needed because it is for the betterment of the larger majority for a time at least.
The show ended on a low note. I mean, come on, how can there be a war? Tony killed his whole crew! Ralph, Chris, Pussy, Vito, Anthony and arranged a hit on Furio.
too many car accidents in the last few seasons. the first car crash was unnecessary. i hate the unrealistic events that david chase wrote for the show and i hate even more when theres no consequences to these events. at least in the other car crash tony kills chris so there is some value there.
